I think a lot of people found this form challenging, and I found it a nightmare to judge: checking the number of words in each line, checking syllables, checking acrostics, until I developed a headache - literally! Lol But I eventually arrived at thirteen winners. The most common reason for a poem being disqualified was a failure to use all single syllable words. People had tried to get around this in some rather creative ways, such as splitting two syllable words into two separate single syllable words! Some people didn't seem to realize that it had to be all one syllable words; they had the right number of syllables in each line, but not in single syllable words.
