Irritate Me! Contest Judged

Well, you did your worst (or best!) but I survived the reading and judging process without tearing out too much hair or frothing at the mouth! In fact, what was more irritating was the large number of entries I received that weren't repetitive form poems - including one labelled 'blank verse', which was exactly that: blank beneath the title! lol This contest has been quite a learning experience for me, too; I have never written a repetitive form poem and hardly ever read them, so I had to read up on the various forms. So has this contest changed my mind about repetitive poetry? Well, let me put it this way: I don't think I shall be writing a repetitive form poem any time in the near future! lol But big congratulations to my twelve winners, and thanks to everybody who participated! :)

wowowow, this is a contest I wanted very badly to win. Thanks so much, Charlotte. I am very happy you enjoyed my poem. Rondeau are not quite as irritating as other kinds of repetitive poetry because only a partial line is repeated. I can't wait to see your other winners. congrats to them.

A big thank you, Charlotte......it is my honor to be part of your line-up, considering I'm a free-verse kinda girl ! Forms aren't usually my forte', but thanks so much for the challenge, and hope we didn't irritate you tooooo much !! LOL !
