Dark Poetry Contest Judged

Thanks, Charlotte,And thanks also for inspiring Nikko to write for and enter your contest. I was thrilled to see my good friend on a winners' list just like the old times!!! Congrats to all. I just read almost the whole list and I think you chose the number one poem very wisely.

Oh wow, Charlotte! I was very much pleasantly surprised to see my placement, thank you very much :D! I'm really honored to be among your winners, and congrats to all them! When I saw your contest, I Really wanted to write for it, but took me quite some time to figure out how to write it... I think I was the last one who entered it since there was one spot left when I last checked your contest...as to whether it was true or fiction, I guess you could say that it's a melding of the 2? I wanted to touch on child pornography/trafficking, I find that to be one of the darkest things that beasts can do, & oddly enough, that butterfly bit, came to me because I have been reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" in my class. Bon Iver helped too. Thank you so much for noticing the layers there, but I won't bore you with the details anymore... Again, thank you so much, I'm so happy to be in your list, especially since I hardly enter contests anymore :)!
