Emile Pinet Biography

I was born in a small city, (Bathurst) New Brunswick, Canada, the third eldest of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys. I’m the product of a semi-dysfunctional family, brought up by a physically controlling father, versus a loving nurturing mother. Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing and love of nature.

New Book Completion And Release

I am pleased to announce that my new book titled (A Match In The Dark) is now complete and in print at Amazon.com . This will be my last book, I’ve now got four, and as a tribute to my fellow poets on this site, this book contains a section tiled “My Poet Friends featuring (30) poems and bios of poets on this site. Each poet earned their spot by writing a winning poem (first, second or third place) in one of my contest held since the first of this year or by a personal invitation.

Emile, one of the greatest honors to bestow on a person is to give them special recognition in some fashion. You, my friend, have done it for 30 people in one rendering. What a great honor for all concerned. You are, not only a great poet indeed, but also a special friend to those thirty and others.
