Emile Pinet

I was born in a small city, (Bathurst) New Brunswick, Canada, the third eldest of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys. I’m the product of a semi-dysfunctional family, brought up by a physically controlling father, versus a loving nurturing mother. Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing and love of nature.

I must say I was delighted at the quality of poems I received for this contest and many great poems had to be N/A for I found an elusive “E” hidden amidst their lines. Emile, thanks for the inspiration and the wonderful form to work with, and thank you so much for my great placement, I am thrilled that you liked my poem, it was a deep one for sure, someone asked me once "how long will you grieve your mothers death", my answer was "till my last breath" and congratulations to all the winners _Constance
