I was born in a small city, (Bathurst) New Brunswick, Canada, the third eldest of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys. I’m the product of a semi-dysfunctional family, brought up by a physically controlling father, versus a loving nurturing mother. Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing and love of nature.

Last Chance To Be Featured In My New Book

Hi, I wanted to let you all know that in order to have my last book in print before Christmas this (October month’s contest) will be your last chance to have your winning poem featured in my new book”A Match In The Dark,”...

This contest is called “Give Me Your Best New Poem,” (any form... any theme) 14 lines min. 24 lines max., and it’s open to anyone who has not yet won a book in one of my contest, therefore I ask that all previous winners who have secured a place in my book already, to please refrain from entering this contest so others may have a chance to win.

I will continue to hold contest and award the first, second and third place winners with a signed copy of one of my books in the future... but the opportunity to have your poem published in my latest book will have expired after this contest.

I look forward to reading your poems my friends and I will keep you informed as to when my latest book will be in print at Amazon.com to be purchased, if you are so inclined. Emile.
