Emile Pinet
(Click for Poet Info...)

I was born in a small city, (Bathurst) New Brunswick, Canada, the third eldest of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys. I’m the product of a semi-dysfunctional family, brought up by a physically controlling father, versus a loving nurturing mother. Many of my poems reflect the uniqueness and special circumstances of my upbringing and love of nature.

A Note to Poetry Contestants

Please, please, check your rhymes on https://www.rhymezone.com/

The quality of rhymes submitted is very poor!!!!!!

All previous winners who have won a book in one of my contests who wish to participate in this contest or any future contests are free to do so, but in fairness to all, your poem will not be eligible for another book. (One book per author) and you cannot asign your prize to another poet, however you can choose which of your winning poems you'd like to have printed in my new book. (ONE POEM PER AUTHOR).

I wonder if people might benefit from reading Christine Rossetti (who used enclosed rhymes in her sonnets), or whether you might have some suggestions for examples of enclosed rhyme, which people might read. Just a thought. I have avoided entering the contest, because I don't really have very much experience writing in the form.

Thanks Andrew, I have given an example I've written on the contest form...I would love for you to take a shot at it Andrew, I'm sure it's not beyond your skills my friend, Emile. Here is another example I've written: https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/candy_and_flowers_1107686
