Premium Member Remember These Words

      With everyone you ever meet
With every step of your two feet
         Every time that you compete

If you want your life to be complete
       Remember these words forever sweet
‘Respect’ is ever a two-way street

The Phoenix Glass

Through shattered glass, I see my past
Reflected fragments of what didn't last
Like ripples on a midnight sea
Each piece reveals a part of me.

The phoenix rises from the deep
Where shadows dance and secrets sleep
With every step, I claim my ground
Between the worlds I've turned around.

In cosmic depths, I find my voice
Where darkness meets the inner choice
To rise above the breaking pain
And turn my scars into wings again.

The mirrors crack, the pieces fall
But in their shards, I hear it all
The whispers of my deepest soul
Guiding me to make myself whole.

Present

They say today is a gift,
I whisper in my head, please make it swift,
My feet feel heavy like lead,
With every step I take.

I try to remember the good,
But no matter what I do,
It feels like I’m fading,
Losing what once sustained me.

The feelings rise, then disappear,
Everything that lifts my mood,
Slips through my hands.
I pray to the lord-
Please, let me go.

Everything feels like a lie,
A world ruled by the snake.
There is only one place i long for,
The stars above,
A place with no more tears,
No more pain.

But they say today is a gift.
So here I am.

Oblivion’s Comfort

I wake to the desert, talking to the wind;
its voice is dry and muffled.
Sand cuts my skin as I walk;
nowhere feels like a place I belong to.

The seeming figs glow like a distant fire.
My feet are melting with every step I take.
I lose my balance when I stride;
I am surprised as the light darkens me.

Flames whirl at the edge of my sleep.
Dolores remains there, carrying fragments in her hair.
She murmurs, "Take care of my loved ones".
I turn around, but her stare does not leave me.

Water is only a mirage in my eyesight.
I watch their tiny faces drowning in silence.
I choke my breath as I consume the grime;
I confront myself, saying, "They cannot die".

They illustrate that the truth awaits at the edge.
My fist holds a gun, empty and cold.
Comfort lies in lying down and forgetting:
where living means losing myself in the unknown.

Your Hand in Mine

Under the cherry blossoms, we stand,
Your hand in mine, soft as the sand.
The world is loud, yet here it’s still,
Our hearts in tune, our spirits thrill.

We giggle softly, sharing a look,
Like secret pages in a book.
Your laugh, a melody so sweet,
It makes my heart skip every beat.

The way you smile, the way time flies,
I see soft skies in your eyes.
They hold a world so calm and bright,
Like stars that sparkle through the night.

With every step, the world feels bright,
Like stars that twinkle through the night.
We’ll write our story, me and you,
Beneath a sky that’s always blue.

Premium Member Got to keep going

We all wish for something more than what we see,
We’re all searching for a place where we can be free.
With every step we take, the stakes are high,
But we lift each other up, make our spirits fly.

The Weight of Tomorrow

I sit alone beneath the sky,
Uncle, thinking of your last goodbye,
The world feels heavy, dreams unclear,
With every step, I carry fear.

Graduation looms - so close, so wide,
But doubt and worry walk beside.
You always knew just what to say…
I wish you could be here today

The Fall Below

The edge is close, my steps are slow,
I shouldn’t look, but still, I know.
I told myself I’d just come see
But now the fear is holding me.

The ground’s too far, my hands feel weak,
My chest is tight, I barely speak.
The railing’s there, but what if not?
What if it slips? What if I drop?

I take one step, then stop again,
The panic rising in my skin.
The wind is sharp, it stings my face,
I feel too small for this high place.

I take a breath, I step away,
The edge behind, I make my way.
With every step, I feel more free,
The fear is gone, I’m moving, see?

I don’t look back, I don’t regret,
I take each step, no more to fear.
The fear still lingers, but I survive
I’m off that path. I’m still alive.

REFLECT

Reflection
Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In the light of day, I see the smiles
Spreading around, bring it for a while.

Ends up, we all fake it, it seems
It was a reflection of what the world wanted to be seen
Interchangeable we grief
Leaving the past a mirror of our relief

With every step on this winding road,
I shed my burdens, I lighten the load.
Through valleys deep and mountains tall,
My heart beats louder, I dare to call.

All in all,
The one reflection was a darkened
recall to the unreal Yarkand
Far from all, I placed the mirror and
What lies ahead, a mystery veiled,
In fragile hopes, my heart is sailed.

With every beat, my heart reveals,
The essence of what deeply feels
With every turn, a lesson learned,
Embracing each flame, my spirit burned

Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In others’ eyes, a glimpse of me,
Together, we find what it means to be free.

All in all
The one reflection was a darker me

Void

In the silence, I hear my own voice
A whispered longing, a heart that makes some noise
I reach for connection, a gentle touch
But find instead a space that's too much

The weight of unspoken words, a heaviness I bear
A sense of longing that I've learned to share
With every step, I search for a place to stand
A sense of belonging, a loving hand

In the emptiness, I find a quiet pain
A sorrow that I've learned to contain
But still I hold on to the hope that remains
A fragile thread, a love that sustains

Premium Member The Coolness of Winter

While hearths glow warm with ember’s light,
I dance beneath the pale moon’s gleam,
Where frosted breath curls in the night,
And ice-bound dreams take flight unseen.

The wind, a whispered song so bold,
It sings of stars in frozen streams,
Of silver landscapes, fierce and cold,
A world untouched by fire’s beams.

With every step, the crunching snow,
A voice that speaks to hearts like mine,
Where solitude and wonders grow,
And frozen beauty feels divine.

The Winter Solstice marks my days,
Its silent magic fills my chest,
The sacred chill, the moonlit haze,
This season feels like life’s own crest.

Though Yule and Christmas warm the soul,
The coolness calls me evermore,
To wander where the frost takes hold,
And where the northern tempests soar.

No words could cage this love so vast,
This bond with winter, fierce yet bright,
A thrill that lingers, unsurpassed,
Where cold and comfort both unite.

So let them stay by fireside glow,
With hands wrapped 'round their steaming cups,
While I embrace the ice and snow,
And drink the cold like boldest luck.

PEERS

In halls of learning, we gather round,
Peers united, common ground is found.
Shared laughter echoes, memories made,
Together we grow, our bonds are displayed.

With every step, we learn and share,
Supporting each other, without a care.
In times of need, they lend a hand,
A friendly nudge, to help us stand.

Through trials and tribulations, we face,
Peers by our side, a steady pace.
Their smiles and cheers, a guiding light,
Illuminate our path, through darkest night.

In peer groups, we find our place,
A sense of belonging, a warm, safe space.
Where we can be ourselves, wild and free,
And grow into the best version of me.

True Friends

In the quiet corners of the heart,
Where shadows linger, where dreams start,
True friends dwell, a constant flame,
A bond unspoken, yet never tame.

They hold you steady when winds are strong,
A melody played when the world feels wrong.
Through darkest days or skies of blue,
They walk beside, always true.

Not bound by time, nor by the years,
They wipe your doubts, they calm your fears.
In laughter loud or in silence deep,
They are the secrets you long to keep.

With every step, they share your weight,
In every choice, they seal your fate.
Their love, a lighthouse on a stormy night,
Guiding your soul with gentle light.

True friends are echoes in the wind,
The quiet strength that never ends.
Through all the changes life may send,
In them, you find your journey’s end.

So when the road is rough and long,
And the world feels cold, so hard, so strong—
Reach for your friends, and you'll soon find,
That with them, you're never far behind.

The Eternal Question: God, No God, Maybe God

There was a phase when I was lost
A time when I was void of thought
I stood still and started to walk
With every step I leaned down
Every second, I found myself in a let down
With each breath i lost a crown

In my path I found a glass
I picked it up and saw my past
It was an abyss
The place I lived
I closed my eyes, i wished to die
I approached my death with a smiling face
More like a hollow laugh with a borrowed face

A last sorryy
and I started to fall
A light emerged from up above
A hand was passed to the man never heard
A grace was passed to the man on the deservings last
His heart redeemed through shadows of the past

Sins erased
Mistakes embraced
And he was given a whole new place
To live
To shine
To make his life right
To become the loyal servant of might
He is a believer
He is now The wanderer's retriever

My one true love

In the quiet of the night, I find
A place where hearts, like stars, align.
Your touch, a spark, ignites the sky,
And in your gaze, I learn to fly.

Each word you speak is sweet, like song,
A melody that hums along.
In every laugh, in every sigh,
I see the world through your bright eyes.

Through every storm, through every fight,
Your love remains my guiding light.
With every step, in every way,
You fill my heart more every day.

So here, my love, my heart I give,
For in your arms, I long to live.
With every breath, with every rhyme,
I’ll love you deeper, through all time.
