To The Finish

Everywhere I've ever been,
Whether that place was thick or thin,

It was my desire to make it feel like home,
And not hit the road again and roam.

Everything I've ever done,
I've always desired to get it done.

Every space I've ever occupied,
Even if it did not taste like mother's apple pie,

I was motivated to fill that space with determination 
And inspired to finish my course with dedication.

A Fresh New Day

Yesterday was a tough day
A Headache day
a Klutzy day
a delete an important email day
a delete a poem I hadn't saved day
a brain fog on migraine meds kind of day
a trumble down a few stairs kind of day
a missed Orchestra kind of day
but Today will be a better day
Starting off with determination for a fresh, new day!

Mystics Of The Night

Come let me tell you a story of my flight up to glory,
The stars had lit up the night sky but the universe was
Lingering by; oh what wonders filled the skies, upon this beauty
I can rely and cross my finger when the mystery gets deeper.
The elements in the skies are tossing to and fro and they have no permanent place to go, the heavens are rolling with the clouds and I can hear the angels shout, they are standing at the end of the clouds watching mankind moving about and the laser beams moves swiftly over the sea and the heavens make peace with me. They come from near and far with determination to get through it all, voices of boldness resonates from the deep and the hope confirm with the reality; filling the empty spaces in their mind and the heavens above stood still and the clock move forward with the time. Oh mystics of the night come and dine with me tonight. Cover me with your warm coat and warm my hands and feet with your glowing light. Mystics of the night, you are my delight come and sing a song for me tonight.

The Final Push

Only a few days are left,
But no seriousness is felt.
I don’t want to cry, I don’t want to regret,
Need to study each chapter, each alphabet.

I need to work hard,
With determination, not just a façade.
I want to score better,
That’s what truly matters.

Managing my time,
Is harder to define.
Working with a strict schedule,
Feels far from cool.

How foolish I am, though I know,
Boards won't be easy, still, I let it go.
I need to work hard,
That’s the key to the reward.

Snow plow man

Driving along steel on the road
look in the mirror 
salt falls from my load

Moving just as swift as I can
Look at me
I'm the snow plow man

Snow piles high as it moves off my plow
push back corners 
the kids scream WOW

working  round the clock all through the night
Clearing the roads
With determination an might

Road to road as fast as I can
Look at me  
I'm the snow plow man

Wishes and Dreams

A dream is a wish your heart makes
when you’re fast asleep,
but what about when you’re wide awake?
Do we still have the power to create
our own destiny and fate?

I used to wish on stars for my dreams to come true,
but they always seemed out of reach;
just a twinkle in the sky,
a reminder of all I couldn’t achieve.

But then I realized that wishes are just words,
floating aimlessly in the night;
it’s our actions that make our dreams come true,
our choices that guide us towards the light.

So now I dream with my eyes open,
my heart beating loud and strong;
I chase after my wishes with determination
and hold on tight when things go wrong.

Because a dream is more than just a wish –
it’s a fire burning inside, a passion and desire;
and when we let it lead us, guide us, inspire us,
we’ll find ourselves soaring higher and higher.

So don’t just close your eyes and make a wish –
open your heart, awaken your soul;
let your dreams be more than just words –
let them be the flames that make you whole.

Move on

Life is for the living
It is for a short a season
Whatever life throws at you 
Receive it with equanimity and move on
When  you make mistakes as all mortals sometimes do
Do not run away from God
Rather run to Him and make amends  
And move on with determination 
On your onward journey 
And God will see you through 
For He loves you so much
That He gave you His only son
To die a shameful death on the cross 
So that you may be saved if only you believe

Praise be to God for warning us against deceivers with their:

Disrespectful witness
Detrimental worldliness
Dysfunctional waywardness

Mark 13:32-37 Praise be to the Lord for
commanding us to be watchful while: 
Waiting actively for His arrival
Working abundantly by His affirmation
Wanting His approval along His assurance
Walking against arrogant and apathetic attitude
Withdrawing from abominations through His assistance

Mark 14:6 Praise be to the Saviour for
delighting in our good work wrought on Him:
Dearly with dedication by His divine design
Diligently with determination to His direction
Dutifully with dependence on His driving defense
Devotedly with decisiveness through His distinction
Determinedly with discipline and discretion from destruction. Amen!

A regular routine of wa istching the stars dance with darkness,
 I found myself peacefully becoming aqcuainted with the moon,
 ?
My soul disinterested in Days empty luminous skies,
I anticipated to go to war with the sun 

 Time slowly became irrelevant 

I watched Z's ride in on sheep,
charging with determination to have me surrender the holy Grail of espresso

Become The Inspiration

A rough cut diamond can become polished stone,
That sits on the head, of a queen on her throne.
A lump of coal, can become embers of light,
Keeping people warm, through long cold nights.

A lump of metal, can become life saving equipment,
A scalpel or needle, in operations to save us.
A fallen tree, can become the rest,
A bed frame or chair, for old and distressed.

A small reminder that anything can be,
Anything can become, good from debris.
This reflects to us, people who dream,
That we can become anything, and go to the extreme.

We can become anything, with determination,
And pass on our skills, to the next generation.
Accidents aren’t bad, which has been seen,
From penicillin to plastic, and everything between.

Never let set backs, hinder your progression,
A set back finds new paths, and creates new questions.
With dedication and fire, within your soul,
You’ll become your dream, and reach your goal.

I could not talk about it, so I wrote a poem

Hard work and success go together, 
As a human being, we are recognized with awards and honors, 
But there are many creatures in the world, 
Those who work very hard, never recognized, but achieve their goals. 

The ants, with their tiny bodies and mighty strength, 
Toil tirelessly, hoping they will never lose, 
They carry burdens, marching in a line, 
Their unwavering spirit, a divine inspiration. 

The bees, gather nectar, a task they willingly bear, 
Their hard work is not in vain, those who try never lose, 
They build their hive with precision and care, 
Their unity and diligence, a lesson we can share. 

And amidst the forest, the mighty beavers reside, 
Building dams and homes with unwavering pride. 
Their hard work and perseverance, a testament true, 
That with determination, there's nothing we can't do. 

Failure is a challenge, accept it, 
See what is missing and improve it, 
Unless you succeed, give up your peaceful sleep, 
Don’t run away from the battlefield of struggle, 
There is no glory without doing something,  
Those who try never lose.

Freedom's Cause

 College students let their voices be heard
 As they call for freedom for Palestine
 Putting bodies on the line, their anger stirred
 With determination their hearts and minds entwine
 But the war machine is in full swing
 Of a ceasefire there is no sign
 As more death and sorrow those bombs bring
 But do the powers that be...
 really want freedom for Palestine?

Pure against wickedness’ perversions
Perfect by His Word’s protection
Profitable through His ways’ preservation

Joshua 18:3 Praise be to the Saviour Who is admonishing
us not to be slack in possessing our blessings by:
Remaining in our selfishness
Retiring in our self-sufficiency
Resting in our self-righteousness 
Relying on our self-improvement
Rejuvenating in our self-confidence
Retreating in our self-pity
Rejoicing in our self-esteem. Amen!

Make a Mark

Let us realign what is out of place
Decree what needs to be decreed with might
Walk a nation to its future with grace
And lead it towards a future that is bright

For shifts are happening now in heavens above
Your long-awaited redemption is drawing near
Dance to your heart's beat, embrace God’s love
And according to heaven's rhythm, let us steer

Yet, learn to wait in His presence, for one step at a time
Divine access will be granted to each and all
So stay diligent, do not lose sight of your rhyme 
For you are being called in a new way, hear the call

With every step, move with determination and poise
For we are about to be called to function in new ways
Let us walk with faith, make decrees with joyful noise
As we lead nations toward their prosperous days

So let us realign, decree and walk
For we are the ones called to make a mark.
