The Cat's play

The cat has ruined the tray,
It was so nicely decorated.
Intentions were to catch the mice slowly.
But the whole scene turns awkward and ugly.
The mice have every right to survive,
The cat's arrival gives a piece of advice.
The mice play with kids enjoying vacation,
The fiery cat springs up with determination.
The cat has an upper hand,
But at times becomes overconfident.
Finally scratches the pillow in deep frustration,
As the kittens are in hungry connotation.
The mother arrives and is in immense pain,
but she remains at work in hope of success again.
