sweet smile, bright eyes
own style, street wise,
Royal sigh of prettiness; a dreamy flame
Sunbeam stars - cream house its frame
Purples rappel down the stucco siding
Creeping phlox, magnanimous tiding
Ruby-throated hummingbirds near it
Wise flowers attend to one’s spirit
the fork thought the knife and spoon were against her
A conspiracy was in the works, their mission impure
She used her ring finger and accused them of a conspiracy
The spoon pointedly ignored her and stirred up his green tea
The knife was not as wise as the spoon and argued most of the day
It seemed to give them satisfaction said the spoon named Gray.
They are used to arguing, it is their way to be romantic he thought.
He had heard his parents scraping and hissing since he was a tot.
I plead guilty
Of saying,
My grandchild is
The most beautiful
The most wonderful
The most intelligent,
It shows, it is so evident,
Absolutely so loving,
Character and nature so giving,
Makes friends instantly
And acts independently,
And so much fun,
Takes my hand
To help build sandcastles
In the sea sand,
Likes to share,
Tells you if she feels you are wrong,
That is not fair,
And how old is this little wonder,
Who is not even afraid
Of an intense storm
With lightning and thunder,
Two years and 8 months,
Who converses so sensibly,
And comprehensibly,
I am not exaggerating,
Such a wise little mind
Who is also so truly kind,
Who tells me I am not pronouncing
“Absolutely,” Correctly
It is ab-so lut-ely yiayia, she says,
And I beam at you with pride
You are so little, yet mature
Everyday we love you more and more,
And one day when our time is up,
I hope no time too soon,
When you look up and
See a full bright moon,
And lots of glittering stars,
It’s Yiayia and pappou ,
Sending you hugs
And love galore.
YIAYIA AND PAPPOU ARE THE GREEK WORDS FOR – GRANNY AND GRANDPA
Listen to the wisdom of an old woman
You will find what experience sounds like
I have seen all and knowledge of all
I won’t always be around
While I am living, I will share my pointers
Grandson, I want your feet planted firmly on solid ground
Be the Adult I always told you were meant to be
Be independent and courageous
Depend on no but yourself guided by God’s assurance and influence
“Every battle there is victory at the end”
Step out and on
Every footstep is the journey gained in learning
When you fall pick yourself up
Anticipate life’s ups and downs
Finding yourself who you are
Know that you are never alone
No matter where nor how far
You are enriched in the harmony and rhythm from your very creation
Take it from Grandma from my own experience
Today’s uplift
Tomorrow’s praise ongoing
Always be ready holding steady
Grandma will always be waiting at every Airport, Bus Station and Train Station for your arrival to the pearly gates
I want to see you in where I am
Love, Grandma
A Word to the Wise
Men, never rush to sit into a stall
holding back nature’s urgent call
before first doing yourself a favor –
check to see if there’s tissue paper.
There’s nothing worse than griping
about a rear you left without wiping.
elders drive safely

wise lovely driver
We can harvest well,
But we must plant our saplings;
We can build up luck.
I hate that I let people waste my time.
They'll clutter my head with busy chatter
and I let them unload their garbage.
They walk away without a clue
that they have defecated on my peace.
I keep thinking they'll get wise to it
but they never do and still I say nothing
but maybe just maybe today's the day...

There's a lot to be said
for silence
but you won't hear it from me
I'm satisfied tongue-tied
as the less said the more I see
and even if the point is moot
'tis a wise owl
who don't give a hoot

(Too wise you are too wise you be I see you are too wise for me)
'tis the machine age
when we wise, be deemed machines
until three machines
read our stuff, agree, and say
sorry, you ain't no machine
wisdom is to deal with people based on their mentality level
a penny is a cent of a dime
a dime is a wise penny
a wise penny is a cent dime

"In life we learn from love, hurts, mistakes and from the ones we have trusted." By Poet
My heart once held love overflowing,
joy was bursting at the seams and glowing.
That was before you came along,
you did me so very wrong.
Filling my loving heart with pain,
I will never do this again.
Now I will guard my hurt and empty heart,
you have made me very smart.
No more bad words and lies,
for now I have become wise.
