Scholars squander sunny days
Coffined in their cloistered nooks,
Where a wise man never stays
Buried, bored, by books.
a wise man will know
finding a worm in a pear…
better than half worm

Ignorance is a talking drum
Ignorance is a drum of backwardness
Like a clock with low battery
Moving anti - clock wise
Being criticized by wise,
it's totally flattering ...
But criticized by ignorant
it is pure scorn and cursing
Today I’m thankful for the owl…
A truly wonderful bird….
who reminds us we can be wise
without ever saying a word.
do not be chatty
just speak about what matters
no petty niggler
Inspired by both Sara Baker & Heidi Sands writes.
While bashing those whom we hate,
our ego may get boosted
but peace ends.
Wise acknowledge all have flaws

Three wise men of Gotham
Went to sea in a bowl:
Their wisdom was a misconception
They died and that’s natural selection
Form:
Why are you so at ease?
Mircle magic has nice plants
Do you see the seeds and the wise
It's all there with nothing at all.
Form:
The old women
sold flowers
at the promenade
“Buy a flower you can’t
smell them when you’re dead”
wise old woman…
The wise owl watches
The cunning fox prowls
The lordly lion stalks its prey --
The hapless human stares at a screen
Wise and in love,
be there never the day
Where reason and passion
—together will lay
(The New Room: November, 2021)
golden rays of light
illuminate the sage oak ~
endowed in wisdom
Humility and discernment lead
Knowledge and wisdom follow
Use them as an example to succeed
And you will be them tomorrow
Oh sweet Christ Child I wonder
if the Wise Men ever knew
that Party frocks and cheese balls
would someday overshadow you?
The only thing funnier than a one liner is two wise-crackers comatose.

Cats are radiant
Chaperons sweet, sent by God
To show us adore
O' wise, all-knowing creatures
Sacred messengers in fur
My middle name is Winter
My wise wife’s name is Summer
We both tried to Spring ahead
But had a big Fall instead

Listen to poem:
stairway
to heaven bound
has step-wise tiers
strewn with slippery slides
snaking down to land head first ~
rung hamstrung
A wise man will think
When a foolish man does not~
Does adventure wait
For only the bravest men
Or can the foolish join in?
Serene, at peace...
Calm's a unique kind of cool
Concentration tool...
Fools too oft get excited
Wise men, not thus incited
one two three be wise
set at rest all wrong fully
do right totally
one two three
build truth tree

He pushed the wise king
down the high castle, now he
takes his father's throne.

Lights and sound start to rise
I wake, my Day begins,
And from this place I see more wise,
With thoughts of wonderous things.
Form:
opens wide her eyes
she’s wonderfully wise and kind —
spent watch with love’s ears
