Premium Member Get Out The Vote

What would Jesus Do?
Certainly not everything
I ask -- far wiser! Honestly,
I doubt that any of us knows.
Would He turn the other cheek?
Perhaps, turn a few tables over?
Call all Father's children, his
sacred sisters and brothers,
or a generation of Vipers and
snakes? Instead of armies,
would He have sent Social
Workers to settle with Hitler?
What I don't want to do...
is someday stand before God
and say, while the world was
burning, and innocence being
consumed, all I did was pray

when a bucket of water sat
beside me....

How Worth Is Your Vote

A politician went to an old man to ask for votes
Asked to hold 1000 pesos.
Father grandpa said, 'Son, I don't want money.
But if you want votes, buy me a carabao.'
The politician wanted votes. He came out to buy a carabao.
Instead he goes somewhere else.
He didn't get a carabao for less than 40000 pesos.
He came back to Father grandpa saying,
'No carabao less than 40000 pesos that's why I'll just give you 1000.'
Father grandpa said, 'Son, don't be embarrassed anymore.'
'In your eyes, my value is less than a carabao,
How can I sell for 1000, when the carabao is not sold for 40000.'
Wake up voter, wake up your worth
Those people who ruin their family's future are worth a few pesos.

regret your vote

do you feel regret?
regret for your vote?
Do you feel remorse?
realizing you're a minority too?
we stole this land, now the original inhibitors are in camps.
this country is built on the blood soaked ground of natives,
and was created on the backs of immigrants,
but suddenly you decide that they are the problem.
the kids are dying
guns are in schools and going to the hospital bankrupts people.
we've got a felon in the office and people dying on the streets.
eggs are $6 a dozen and people can't afford to eat.
Big pharma is getting richer while diabetic people die every week because they can't afford insulin.
are you just now realizing what him as president really means?
our military might be strong but our people are feeling weak
ICE is in schools but pedophiles and rapists walk free,
Billionaires get richer but life gets harder for you and me.

every vote casts matter's

the bar down on 5th, voices clash like dice in a cup,
old men with one eye left open, arms folded, tight,
mutter about what doesn’t matter, what will never matter—
but they walk, stumble, crawl to cast a scratch of ink.

it’s a paper with too much power, too many voices
pressed into the small, heavy hands of the damn,
of the ones who only want to be heard just once,
for their troubles, their lost lives buried under old rents,

but tonight, they grip it, like something fierce,
like holding on to a last drink, or last chance,
and they shake their heads in quiet and whisper,
“what does it change? what does it fix?”

but still, they sign that little death,
spit on the floor, pull open the door,
and walk out like they’ve got something back.

Premium Member Election Day Prayer

Oh Lord, hear this prayer!
Not for my party winning.
Not for fattening my wallet.
Not for riding my hobby horse.
Not for idolizing my sacred cow.
But for your divine wisdom to prevail.

Oh Lord, hear this prayer!
Open our blinded eyes.
Open our eyes to truth.
Open our eyes to justice.
Open our eyes to goodness.
Open our eyes to humility.
Open our eyes to honor.
Open our eyes to mercy.
Open ALL of our eyes.
Let it not be too late.

Premium Member Vote

Really disappointed in the powers that be.
The little people they fail to see
The words of hate
They spread through each state
Talking down on each other
The truth they smother
And I am embarrassed by how my leaders act
And that is a fact
Shows that together we don't stand
This hate talk should be banned
Show some respect is all I ask
Is that such a hard task
They speak without love
So I vote for none of the above

Premium Member A Billion Reasons to Vote Early

      I tried to vote early

Premium Member Vote For, If You Want

No department of Education
No anti-corruption
No health care
No unemployment benefits
No social security benefits
When you’re old enough to retire
No help for people in needs, no welfare
No grants or loans for college students
No housing vouchers for elderly parents
No rules and regulations for the Stock Markets
No lawsuits against criminal cops
Due to immunity, they can kill anybody in the streets
And there’s more, more will fall in the craps
Many people will die sooner, before their time
Believe me that will be a sad crime
If you want an unfriendly and dishonest America
Vote for the fascist and friends of the SAGA
Otherwise, vote for the intelligent Woman
Who will never insult and disrespect Asians
Native Americans, Black Americans
Caucasians, Haitians, Jamaicans
Puerto Ricans, Europeans
Human beings, Africans
Latinos and poor White Americans.

Premium Member OF A SINGLE VOTE

He stood, somewhat defiantly,
Among the “well” dressed
Frayed pant cuffs
Missing a button on his flannel
Well-worn shoes
Gnarly, veined hands
He would vote today
It is his duty, his privilege
An honor in his mind
To participate
In choosing a leader.

The line moved slowly
Each step narrowing
The parameters of his decision
He had listened to the rhetoric
Shook his head at the venomous accusations
Witnessed a sitting president
Ousted…in a bloodless coup

He worried about his grand kids
Knowing he would not be there for them
Would not be able to help them understand
Damn, he didn’t understand

And yet, he moved with the silent line
Pondering the repercussions
Of a single vote.

I’m Don McKitty and I need your vote
Your brave fearless leader, don’t make me gloat
Give me your order
And I’ll shut the border
Hold the lies and BS? I’ll make a note!

Premium Member My Vote

My vote matters for the same reasons that I MATTER.
My presence is like life-giving WATER.
My vote is far more than POLITICAL.
Rather, it is the voice of PRINCIPLE.
My right to free speech is clear as the DAY.
It is my right to have my SAY.
My vote is bigger than any MAN.
The success or failure of my nation
Also lies in my HANDS. Yes, the issues
At stake are often hard to UNDERSTAND,
But whatever the challenges to be overcome,
I must believe that I CAN. I can never see
Ahead if my head is buried in the SAND.
I need not be a FAN of whom I cast my vote.
Yes, some things are clouded and have to be discerned.
My vote is not free to anyone; it has to be earned.
It's the principles that count. The candidates may
Not even be worthy of my shouts from the GRANDSTANDS.
So primarily, when I cast my vote, it's the principles that count.

Premium Member Woman President

Woman President

A dream come true,
I was always told it was possible
A woman president

Could anyone have predicted it
Many women have run for equal rights
in the past, we’re here and now
It might as well be you
Worn down is your spontaneous laugh
reduced to a serious hum
Working hard to keep our country free
Gee—wiz already you have made history
In the role of Vice Presidency

A dream come true,
I was always told it was possible
A woman president

It may as well be you

Kamala for President!

Premium Member They Eat Good Hot Dogs

They consume the hot dogs
Too
Like you
But they don’t eat the dogs
Never, never
They do not eat the cats
They do not eat the pets
Never, never.

Immigrants eat the wild hogs
That’s hot Griot
They don’t eat the rabbits
But they eat the spicy Tassot
And of course, they eat hot dogs.

Haitians eat and drink Soup Joumou
Which contains vegetables and of course carrots
Haitian food
Is very, very good
Immigrants consume good meats
Like you.

Stop being racist
Stop being supremacist
Your ancestors used to eat the dogs
Not immigrants, Not West Indians
Not Haitians
Immigrants eat fried wild hogs
Like zillion of Americans
Who love apple pies
Stop the lies, stop all lies.

Premium Member They Are Eating The Dogs

They are eating the dogs
They are eating the cats
They are eating the pets
They are eating the wild hogs.

In the early 20th “c”, Germans used to eat blockade mutton
That’s absolute truth. It’s a shame that this felon
Is desperate and going wild. The dude is a pathological liar
Who will do anything. He’s a tremendous cheater.

Immigrants do not eat the pets
Especially Haitians who love chickens
Tassot or griot meats, black rice and beans.

Haitians love Soup Joumou with lots of carrots
Haitians enjoy one of the best cuisines on the planet
Liar, liar, nobody is perfect. That’s correct.
