FREEDOM
I STAND ERECT, WITH MY BACK AGAINST THE WIND-
MY FEET ARE PLANTED SOLIDLY UPON RICH SOIL-
MY THOUGHTS ARE MY OWN-
MY MOVEMENTS ARE UNCENSORED-
I AM MY OWN PERSON-
NO CHAINS BOUND ME TO ANOTHER-
NO MASTER RULES MY EVERY WAKING MOMENT
MY CHILDREN WILL NOT BE SOLD-
MY PERSON WILL NOT BE VIOLATED-
I AM FREE-
FREE TO LIVE AS I CHOOSE- THINK AS I PLEASE-
LOVE AS I WANT-PLAY- AS I WILL-
FREE TO VOTE, FREE TO CONVERSE WITH ANOTHER-
FREE- TO BE ME- FREE- FREE – FREE – FREE
