Dear Breath, will you truly forsake me?
Dearest Death, will you be kind to me?
My favourite Life, are you satisfied?
My quintessential self, do you truly possess this demeanour?
Temporary happiness is always godlike bliss,
Permanence is a dutiful curse.
The more I look for profound beauty,
The more I go far away from my salient appetite.
Karma never forgives anyone,
Building a church on my altar,
Building a cage that cannot be broken,
Inside that, I will be stuck for the time being.
The Grim Reaper calls my name just once,
The fragile cage cannot keep me safe.
The perfect Advisor is never going to fulfill me,
Until I admit, I want to be someone under His command!
Dearest Death, is the Grim Reaper your valet?
Dear Breath, did you come to rescue me?
Or was it just another pretence?
My sweetest Soul, are you really mine, or will you just fly away at another time?

Here are 3 kisses & a “huggie”,
May Shalom Beis thus accrue!
Warm envelope addressed to our foray,
To Brookside where Crocuses Tug Ye,
Roses are Red & so my bowing knee,
My ears are yours to listen to your dream anthology!

“…could not stop for death- he kindly stopped for me-
The carriage held just ourselves and immortality.”
Quote by _ Emily Dickinson
Death will never break a sweat
For death will always win
There is no oval track in life
No round and round again
Death will never break its stride
Nor slow its timeless cadence
Laughs as we scurry about
For death has endless patience
Death casts no shadows, rings no bells
Serves neither heavens nor their hells
It’s just Life’s valet parking guy
Punching tickets as we pass by

Bulky ute voyeur selects sleek sporty stalion
Driving by, supersedes her oversized sedan
Wide wheel arches have Porche comparison
Voracious engine's enthuse easily enchants
Large car cast dispelled by lacklustre Calais
Original conjur 370Z parked beside boring
Low leg swing exclusive slide in, magic valet
Over revved start stabs adrenalin assuring
Our dear Dara, choice contacted in December
Available last minute to test drive his beast
Black gloss road boss, enlarged 'lungs' terror
Capable crazy bitumen baby, tester pleased
Ultimate Man concurs, the amenable outcome
Keys in her hand a few days after, aura froze
Couldn't imagine huge generosity from anyone
Racing car reap, increase on what she sows
Merry go round roads, another showoff slotted
Silver pole stabilised glides in Surfers cycle
Crosslane carousel onlookers, briefly besotted
By hot hoof nimble Nissan race horse style

I watched her lift her leg and fart
and said that must be age and heart
But wondered why she needed help
when all that gas was power felt
And thought her sick for just the cause
and yelled at her for what it was
And said I saw her let it go
and wondered if you're nuts or so
And she would blush and say a thing
like so you saw me what's the ding
And I would say I've never seen
a woman fart and carry swing
For what I knew as just a kid
was fart real loud and not with lid
So helping hands would never lift
what ass to all was border'd gift

Paulette painted portraits and landscape scenes
With a shimmering jeweled toned palette.
Painting royal heads of state and reigning Kings and Queens.
Paulette painted portraits and landscape scenes;
Dappled brush strokes, blending rolling hills of green.
Commissioned once to paint a well-respected valet.

Insidious harmony
inadequacy and impotence; infection of valet
destruction annihilates the human spirit
ballroom choreography reveals deficiency
stamina illuminated by revitalized behavior
impending fortitude seeks out the seeker
soaring ambitions will fertilize emergence
robust tenacity breeds dominating disposition
committing deportment flavors the hunger
concluding interlude contribute the means
seldom encountered but forever introduced

A president’s sad ending
Speaks into the empty office he hears an echo which
repeats his words, I´m the president.
His wife lives in New York and the only visitors he gets
are sycophants and from a pale sickly-looking man
who is as deluded as him?
All rooms are bare, and furniture moved to storage he
sleeps on a sofa in the office takes his meals in there too.
His valet helps him having a bath and change his suit.
The valet is black and has to endure the brunt of his rage about black people not voting for him.
It will all be Ok, Mr President the hapless man, whispers while helping the president to comb his hair.
Outside the police awaits the order to drag the president out
of his big house and his valet has signed a book deal.

As worn and faded as the streets he walked
He drew little attention, gave same.
It is said that he doesn't care.
He knows different.
He shuns the oratory of clean hands,
Picks up their scattered flyers and handouts,
Quietly recycles them.
A wraith pushing a wobbly-wheeled cart
Scorned by polished passersby collects
The detritus of discarded defiance.
She knows the loneliness of need
And the value of the valueless.
Her bulging plastic bags shout
"Save the planet" to those who hear
Only the wobbling wheels of her cart.
City alleyways teem with rats
Circling the gourmet dumpsters
The homeless wait on line
For tepid soup and stale bread.
Valet parking, crystal chimes,
No take out bags here.
The mayor announces a ban on plastic bags
Bottled water and not caring.
A coyote stalks a cat on Beacon Street.

She was clad in midnight blue,
gliding across town in a BMW.
Tipped the valet debutante style,
flashing a toothless Mona Lisa smile.
She had just turned twenty-one.
Dinner and wine were her idea of fun.
All the invitations were sent.
Off to Rodeo Drive we went.
I didn't know what gift to bring.
She was used to all sorts of bling.
All I had was a wrapped book,
earning me a disappointed look.
She was born into privilege,
had no need for print verbiage.
A lack of finesse she did mind,
so she befriended her own kind.

Science…
a handmaiden of knowledge
The upstairs maid
in a mansion of discovery
Chauffeuring itself
along roads it has built
A quantitative valet
—in the closet of the unknown
