Premium MemberTHREE KISSES MORE

What a wonderful coincidence
I wanted to share with you if I may,
Pressed my code needed for validation,
And three ***’s came up yippee,
Not only for me,
So, sending everyone kisses galore,
It’s still Valentine’s Day and moving,
Towards an evening of romance,
Who is your secret love you adore,
Your betrothed or your partner,
Your love across the seas,
Your wife or your husband, your girlfriend,
your boyfriend,
Whoever it is, hope you have the time
Of your life, remember everyone gets
Three ***’s kisses [more.]

No. She's not an angel;
Of this I am certain.
For she is very much a mortal
and seeks no other identity.

She's only human
She's just a woman
I love her. She loves me.
Of this I am certain

Moreover, from where I sit, neither
hypocrisy nor selfishness exists.
On the contrary, she models purity
of purpose and exemplifies Truth.

Her love for others is deep.
She's strong and she is weak.
Her strength defies her weakness,
rendering it limited and ineffective.

Yes. She is a saint;
Of this I am certain;
For she is a par above
and highly connected to God.

Both her tears and her laughter
exude a captivating aroma with a
divine fragrance that compels me
to give attention and high regard.

And I? I am blessed to be her husband.
She's God's gift to me above all others.
I have been married to her for 50-plus years.
Valentine '24 will be our 54th Valentine together.

My husband had purchased fresh flowers
They sweltered in his car for eight hours
Twelve roses of red
Were nearly all dead
His Valentine’s Day gaffe truly sours

Premium MemberPersistent Valentine Chimpanzee

Valentine’s day chimpanzee has designs on me
I tell him I am taken, and he says “tee hee!”
I show him my initial, the ancient letter C.
He says come and sit down up my knee.

I tell him I am old enough to remember Paul Klee
He says we should spoon under the old oak tree
I tell him I cannot, for today they give ice cream for free
Introducing him to the king of the Old Grand Prix

My husband Chick looks down at the tiny chimpanzee
Scaring him so hard, that the little guy doth flee
He shot off faster than a golf ball on a magic tee.
I guess my husband Chickadee plans on keeping me.

Happy Valentines Day 2023

This day
 On Valentines day
 I lay on my couch
 watching tv.
 I am getting a
little older.
 Much bolder
 My heart feels full
 Of love from me
 to you.
 Not like a husband
 and wife.
 But my family
 People I share with
 in my everyday life.
  No flowers I received
  Or a box of chocolate
  from you to me.
  Just kindness,
  love for one other.
  God gifts to share
  I see this now
  more clear.
 Happy Valentines day
 Do you get my drift?
 From my lips
I blow you a kiss!

Happy Valentines Day

Honey I love you
You know it that day
February 14th
Husband
What that you say?
A dozens of roses
would be nice.
Or a heart shaped
box of candy
Honey!
Remember i am
your wife!
Husband
Oh yes I remember
Where do you
want to go out to eat?
Later I could message
your feet.
Wife
Well maybe you could
buy my a new ring?
Or maybe a new
night gown you
will bring!
Husband
Happy Valentines baby
I will surprise you
 Now give my a hug
 Wife
  Oh no matter what
  I just thank for you
  every day the good
  lord above.

Premium MemberValentine Hearts

I close my eyes and you, my love, are there.
I hear your deep voice as in our love song:
“Endless Love”, you sang, and I am aware
Your missing arms are where I most belong.
So many years we learned to share our parts
As our divine souls melded into one,
We loved each moment in our heart of hearts,
Such opposites we were, yet we had fun.
As this romantic lover’s day arrives,
My memories of you are crystal clear.
You Rest In Peace my love, yet our love thrives,
My spirit feels your spirit always near.

Deep in my heart I know you still are mine.
You will forever be…….my Valentine.

Water

If You Try to Catch the Water
It will Slips out of Your hand gradually..
And
If You Keep that water in a Container for a long time
It will become dirty and smelly..

If You drink that water
In a short Span,
It will calm your burning soul thrist
But, it will not last for a long time...

Then, What You should do with 'The Water' ?
I say! "Let it flow with in the boundaries"
Take care of it, Love it and Let it live too...
Only then, He will never left you alone
And you don't have to put chains around it.

Soulmate

Blissful day that was when we met,
By grace of God or by Fate.
Little did I know, that my life is going to change,
May be it was prearranged, really strange!

Your soft gestures, your loving eyes,
You came in my life as a God in Disguise.
Your endless care, your friendly guide,
Your promises to remain by my side.
I once again revived,
I once again did survive.

You are my Love , you are my Life,
And I'm your beloved lovely wife.
Life everyday is a challenge of new,
And I am incomplete without you.
May our bonding remain like this forever,
May the Almighty keep us always together.

Premium MemberValentines Day 2021

This Valentine’s Day it is thirty degrees below zero
So flowers would die, right? Even the dog won’t go out there.
We plant marigolds, optimistically in styro-foam cups.
Breakfast is cinnamon and sugar toast for me, eggs for him.
We had bacon, but Sophie Helen, our cocker ate most of it.
My husband was in the snuggling mood. We tried.
Sophie ended up scooting us with her corpulent butt.
“Our baby!” We say oohing and ahhing about her.
She is the only one who stayed; our girls left years ago.
We watch car wrecks on the news; they are horrible.
Not sure why we are riveted. About five o’clock a child calls us.
She wants to know what we have been doing all day.
I am delighted, at first, until I realize she has the wrong mom.
“Which one was it?” My husband asks hopefully. We have three girls.
There is no way I am telling him it is a wrong number.
Why ruin Valentine’s Day?

A V-Day Poem, Belated

A close friend’s spouse each year would buy
A gorgeous heart-shaped box
Of chocolates meant for Valentine’s,
Not so unorthodox.

Except he made his purchase
For this most romantic day
On the 15th of the month,
When what was left out on display…

Were the candy hearts marked down in price –
Half-off! A big big sale!
My friend just laughed, but many
Thought it quite beyond the pale.

So here I am, my V-Day poem
A day too late for many,
But written in the spirit
Of my friend’s ex-husband Kenny.

Premium MemberValentines Verdict

they fall into my lap, unresistant.
chocolate, the size of a silver dollar.

sensation of mint betwixt my fingers.
I bite into each one, its cool breath

second to none. Godiva
ceased production of these tongue trinkets.

love pales with petals and Russell Stover…

my husband and I hold hands,
press our temples together and sigh

with the sprightly rush of memory.

Mrs. Field’s fresh Cookies a close second
especially tasty at Fisherman’s Wharf.

still I gladly accept tulips in a väse,
its life-giving water, and caramel dreams.

my heartthrob beams awaiting the verdict —
it’s Valentine’s Day. he’s pretty sure I am his.

holding daisy by the stem —
she loves me, she loves me not

just to be sure, he’s counted each petal beforehand.
eleven flowers on the floor — for pity sake.

A Love Story

A long time ago,
A boy met a Lady, They Danced and drank and met up daily,
Laughter filled their lungs, as they acted a little crazy,
Soon time began to fly by lately,
Although in their 20s they dreaded turning eighty,
One day a ring appeared in the boy’s hand, rather shaky,
Please my darling girl marry me Baby,
The wedding was merry, and full with friends and family,
And of course the best matey,
The boy became a man the day he held his first baby,
Life was grand and as sweet as the ocean and sand,
Although the couple prayed daily life became rather racy,
And here we are my dear husband, Mi. Lady,
Although a few memories have become a little hazy,
They remain each year in my heart filling it with gayety,
And my love remains like the blooms of a fresh daisy.

OUR VALENTINE TRIP

We are off to the seaside to play,
After all it is close to Valentine’s day,
What more could my husband say,
Than I love you , lets go splash and spray
By the sea,
Just you and me,
Forget everything back home for a while,
While we relax, love and smile!
