Funny I was over on holiday over Christmas and we went to Port Alfred by Fort Beaufort where he is from.

A lovely, cute, lighthearted poem which I read with a smile, Jenny :) My Valentine and Birthday cards come in a pack of 2 since they occur 2 days apart from one another! ~ Hope you are keeping well, my friend. Warm regards & hugs // paul

- A lovely and sweet valentine poem, dear Jenny :) - Not many people celebrate this day in Norway ... we live far away from shops and are not influenced by advertising ... therefore most often "forgotten" :) - hugs ?

I think we were sick on Valentine's Day this year. My husband went to the doctor and test positive for COVID again and he is still sick with a cough. I did not go to the doctor though, so I don't know if I had it or not. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page, The Olive Tree. I have not been there. My husband planted two olive trees, and both died. He thought that one was going to make it, but after several years it died as well. There is a variety that can live here.

Those bugger little asterisks instead of 3 x’s. Love that your code was triple x :)

Fond kisses are always relished, be it on Valentine's Day or any other day. Kissing is a way of showing love and affection. But each Kiss has different shades. A kiss to a baby is different from kissing a lover. Kissing our parents is different from kissing our friends. A parting kiss can be so emotional when we take leave of a loved one. Your kiss is received with love, dear Jen. Enjoyed this lighthearted poem

Quite a love poem. With my wife (alas now dead), it was Valentine's Day all year round.

This wonderful poem is to celebrate and spread love on Valentine’s Day, as a symbol to express affection and send kisses to loved ones. Your word choice in the poem is light and playful, emphasizing love and romance. You utilize literary devices such as alliteration in “kisses galore” and repetition in “your” to address different types of loved ones. The use of exclamation marks and the word “yippee” also add to the joyful and exuberant tone of the poem.

Valentine's Day should be a free for all. A day of naked shame and debauchery. Though naturally, confession the next day to cheer the priest up is a must.
