Good one, Jan. I prefer chocolates but in this case, they would have melted!

So, that’s where I’ve been going wrong. I only gave Annie six dead roses. Fun Limerick, Jan. Best of luck in the contest. Terry

A very cute limerick. Valentine's Day is coming, I hope it turns out better than the wilted roses.

A great limerick dear Jan as always from the limerick queen. I always admire how you pen them so easily. A sure gift indeed. Natural. Thank you for making me smile tonight :) Hope you are all ok over there on your lovely island. It’s getting very cold again. Hugs to you xx

Aww thanks Christina, I can write a limerick in one minute so no wonder it's my favourite form. However my muse is mis behaving as far as soup is concerned since I published my 'A giggle a day' poetry book BUT I am writing lots of new material for my next book which will be on 'Toilet' humour'. I am being interviewed for the local radio tomorrow, hopefully once that is over and a newspaper article (which is pending) then i will get back to posting more regularly, thanks for your support:-):-) hugs jan xx
