visible outdoors
to show the seen

blending smooth
colors, tones, light

shadows follow
reflecting angles

smoke rises
unobscured

beating hearts
wade used

brush strokes
mirrors mind

high orange
floats in water

fleeting calmness
holds gaze

For My Love Gazing at the Moon

I love you like one loves the moon,
not only in its full phase,
on a clear night,
when it's the most whole
and most unobscured.

I love you with a certain knowing,
like one knows the crescent moon,
shrouded in clouds,
is bulbous, enormous,
and luminous,
though some only see
a sliver of its face.

    Stolen from story book disbelief
Leather cape swoop, hooks my veins
Fork prong fangs drink, blood drains
Bubble in ruby bead eyed thief

    Gurgle as furry gargoyle fills
    Helicopter hurricane flurry vanishes
    Clutching my haemorrhage damages
    Explosive throat, dizzying thrills

Attack on this dreaded day, theorise
Opened as old time, musty pages
Terror in an unexpected text message
   Dirty diseased creature in disguise

Heroic helper - no - unobscured horror
Giving me a role in rancid plot
   Grave digging past reveals rot
   Historic vampiric bombastic bother

pimpernel on my thighs
eloquence and delectation
conversations with the wise
reveal to me which death i must die.

lily in the valley
bravery passion and determination
whatever has to be done
is a puzzling bird song

eyes lifted skyward past the sun
sensitive tranquil and confident
imagination manifests the role
your humanity learned to adore

suspended in the 'not' time
zeal energy and the wish fulfilled
feelings don't get shut down
nor are they the skin of a reticent sound

kissing the pompon undefined
foregoing forbearing sacrificial
the soul has no power in the self
until it is recognized by it

sunflowers begin a perfect day
poised energized and glowing
outside is all within
happiness is on the other side of fear

waterlilies basking in the moonlight
resplendent unobscured polished
dreaming up another dawn
reveals to me which death i must die.

Inner Conflict I

For Unseeker Seeker
Inner Conflict
Poetry Contest
13 / August / 2022

I instantaneously after reading this
thought this one has got my name
all over it and is just for mr

The best and only possible way I could
try to explain how my inner conflict
manifests itself to me is this

Imagine if you will my life as a out of
control runaway train with no driver
at the helm about to crash

Then I am the only passenger sat on
the roof in the best seat in the house
with a totally unobscured view strapped
firmly in

So I get a bird's eye view of the disaster
that is about to enfold

And all I can do is hope and pray it
comes quickly and puts an end to
the endless swirling butterflies and
sleepless night's

Of the conflict I toil with most of all
the possible damage I may be doing
and am inadvertently placing on other's

Wishing willing wanting only to help me
yet cannot help or are no help at all

Morning Walk In Spring

Oh man! Just go out and see, nature has created a picturesque scenery. Tree are birthing leaves, fruits and flowers. It is green and colourful. Light breeze is blowing, birds are mating, sun is warm and welcoming. Flowers are dancing to the tune of wind, birds are singing melodic music to woo their mates. Watch exquisitely crafted butterflies fluttering by, observe how they drink nectar from flowers. Bumblebee is busy collecting honey. In trees, squirrels can be seen scampering. Look for nests, small fragile young ones, featherless beauties, mother feeds them with her beak. Watch the changing colours of sun, shimmering noon, unobscured by clouds. Shut down your electronic devices, go out and enjoy. Collect as many wonderful memories as possible. Life is short, tomorrow uncertain!

Leave Electronic Devices Aside - Enjoy Spring

Oh man! Just go out and see
Nature has created a picturesque symphony

Tree are birthing
leaves
fruits
flowers.
It is green and colourful

Breeze is blowing,
birds are mating,
sun is warm
welcoming

Just shut down your electronic devices
go out
enjoy
Nature is beautiful
Joyous

Flowers are dancing to the beat of wind
Birds are singing melodic music to woo their mates
Watch  exclusively designed butterflies fluttering by
Observe how they drink nectar from flowers
Bumblebee is busy collecting honey.
In trees squirrels can be seen scampering

Watch out for nests,
Small fragile young ones
Featherless beauties
Mother feeds them with her beak

Everything is beautiful
Happy
Celebrating

Sun is pleasant,
Walks are exhilarating.
Watch the changing colours of sun and
Shimmering noon
Unobscured by clouds

Just be out
Don’t sit at home.
Nature is at its best for you to enjoy.
Collect as many wonderful memories as possible.
Life is short
Tomorrow uncertain!

Moon

I know you
like one knows the crescent moon
obscured by clouds
is luminous
bulbous, and enormous
though some only see
a sliver of you

I know your light
not only when you're unsure
or ambiguous
but at your strongest
most whole
and most unobscured
like a full moon on a clear sky

Still

Still...
Maria Sharon Moemise

Living my life as if there's no tomorrow
Drying tears flowing in a stream of sorrow
Pained, yet continuing through force of will
I look for you, in vain. Hoping still...

Your departure from me was unforeseen
I believed in eternity, life unobscured, serene
Then reality struck and life spiraled downhill
I wished you'd hold on longer , yet still...

It shattered my soul to millions of pieces
Losing you, a sense of my heart decreases
I go on my knees believing it was God's will
That I feel so alone, forsaken, though, still...

I see you smiling at me through cloudy skies
I hear your voice with the birds at every sunrise
I feel a touch of your love with every raindrop that spills
I know you've gone, and I miss you still

Clone: Formerly Known As Twin

We were born identical
When we were created apart;
In very different wombs.
Now my mind runs to where you hide
Unobscured by camouflage
In the bright dim light of
Morally decade manmade nature.
I was created as spares for you,
But I think, and therefore I cannot
Spare you.
Spent by this affliction I no longer
See with blind crystal clarity,
But instead I begin at this end.
The invalidity of science
Has caused its own creation to
Abandon the method
For the metaphysical instead.
Twin, fear not death,
For when you are found,
You will only die to live.
Used up, you will be spared
From that exhilarating mundane
Life of genetic originality.

Finding Unobscured Serenity

Finding Unobscured Serenity

Abhorrence fills Earth
Benevolence is here too
Humans find a gripe
Seeking approval of like
Affection endures despite

Conflict upheaval
Simply love outweighs hatred
Purifying those
Desiring true harmony
With due prudence one must choose

Those who shine their light
They chase back shadows of self
Fake light must be discerned
Don’t mistake the evil light
Kind begets kind by virtue

Unobscured Fortune

To know riches

one must know nothing

After nothing is attained

conform to nothing

And at will you will be freed

to live generously

Without external reliance

on the skeptic’s form of life

Fortress

you climbed the fortress
up trellises of vine
to capture her heart
to hold for all time

the tower a bastion
protected, secured
without hesitation
your vision unobscured

your mission was gallant
the plan was construed
knowing not resistance
from a love that was true

as you scale the tower
you know in your heart
a happy ending was coming
you knew from the start

Premium MemberWondering

Staring at the starry sky
Unobscured by a cloudy night
Wondering why
Are there so many lights

Only one earth
To millions of stars
Will someday there be a rebirth
To planets like mars

Giving them water
Life producing land
With many borders
That contain earth's sand

Will they be inhabitable
By humans and beast
Will they produce food palatable
For all to eat
