Too Little - Too Late

Not so much
a lie
with little
truth to tell

Not so much
goodbye
with greetings
gone to hell

Not so much
romance
with feelings
dead or pawned

Not so much
to dream
with sleep
— bereft and gone

the pulse of humanity
shudders in throbbing pain
meanwhile muffled cries of hopelessness
await redemption as tears of time
may possibly wash away
man's devastation

            Now he wants her back...

The same cad who called her
     "Unattractive" and "overweight"
               a moon or two ago,
                   and demanded
she shed a dozen or more pounds,
                          or else.
                 Before she could
             do away with just one,
            he coldly discarded her
like trash for a sexier lady.

            Now he wants her back...

             An ugly duckling then,
she has beautifully blossomed into
   a sultry, glamorous woman now.
                Guess who's back?
                Yes, the same cad,
bothering her for the second chance
                 he never gave her;
the lady he left her for
               has since moved on
                   to a better man.

             Now he wants her back...
               Ha! Too little, too late.

Sir, sir, May I thank you
from the bottom of my heart
  You see, twenty years ago
you helped me out of a horrific --

And I see I should have thanked you then

Too Little Too Late

Know of a lady
Who patiently waited

To at last be seen
Seen and heard

Given the merest scraps
 Biding her time

Time she watched fly
as the swiftest bird

Always warmed with coffee in her bed
that he chilled from his own on the couch

And if you ask him if he loved
his love for her would vouch

Yet he never sought to hold her
In the cradle of his arms

That he wrapped around a pillow
As to set off no alarms

Avoidant love is no love at all
Loves a verb not a word or some halfhearted token

Trinkets and roses and card bedside that's
her life as her spirit you've broken

never feeling the inclination to act in ways
Causing another strife

Till suffering year upon year
As his beloved wife

She said when she saw the flowers
the first in twenty odd years

The sight of them belated enraged her
Enraged her to the point of tears

You love non connection be honest
Save your cash and keep to your crib

If she could you know she would gladly
hand you back your rib

So afraid of being hurt you
Half assed your way into pain

Now rest assured at least from her
you won't be put through it again

mom, without malice,
cast upon chastity spell,
overprotecting

Timid Tracy never had a date,
Humbly yet she accepted her fate
Mom, so wise and adept,
Refuses to accept
Her dear daughter's virginity state

thoughtful advice from the wise often takes young in the right direction but at the wrong time

What did it cost but regret,
what did it take but denial

What did it bring but despair
—what in the end was worthwhile

Too Much - Too Little

Understanding too much,
feeling too little

Our being unbalanced
—and spirit restrained

Too Little Time

The light was blown away by the arrow
And the silence was still there
The goggles came close and covered me
It is like a strange thing
The break in the canal
Somewhere in the mind
Like a fresh moisture
It was a rush on the last trip
Keep on standing
Maybe the gate of old age
I was looking for
Sweetness is only win00e and love
Days of kiss
Life is the boundary path
The time when colorful dances
Anywhere lost losses
And lovely forms
I know he does not come but he thinks waiting
And after many days he will wrap and drink
No picture was cleared
Only the time has come to mind
Waiting for me to go..

Too Much Yin, Too Little Yang

Maybe in my past incarnation

I lived too much in Yang

Maybe in this incarnation

I live too much in Yin

The duality of living

Teaches us the balance of all things

Maybe this is my path to find

The balance between light and dark.

Too Little Too Late

Too little too late.
Those are words I hate.
So many visions created in mind.
No further time but hopes intertwined.

Case in point, no time to ponder.
I wonder still could it be yonder.
God does say when the best is over,
But clinging tightly to dreams as a lover.

Cold in hope, and hot in dreams.
Knowing above how little it means,
When scheming hearts wanted me to fail,
But in the end, there is a story that I shall tell.

People who know will understand,
People who don’t will be wiped from my land.
In a thunderous bolt, idiocy ran,
Knowing they couldn’t devour the plan—it stands.

Too Little Time

Too many questions left unanswered,
Too many words left unspoken,
Too many things left undone,
But too little time left.
Live life to the full.
Value the things
That matter
Most in
Life.

Humans
only act when
damage done is severe.
For climate change, it's already
too late.

Too Little To Late

Todays society chooses to run on greed!
Few people actually want to see others succeed.
Some people would rather choose to hurt the people that love them,
as long as in the end they'll be above them!
For some people its easy to hit someone right in the head.
So they can rob them to get money and not work instead.
Predators continue to be on the rise,
and ignore whom they hurt as they block out their cries!
Our families are torn by actions we've taken,
even if it's hear say and one was mistaken.
There are few people out there that can actually be trusted,
if we truly knew what some people did we'd all be disgusted.
When will society as a whole choose to realize,
that it's time for us all to open our eyes?
It's time we all rise up together,to make a change for the better!
Because little do we all know its pretty much right now or not ever!

Too Little To Notice, Too Much To Ignore

Romantic glances across the room, small kisses on my check.
The wonderful way you held me in your arms at night.
It was all so amazing, so remarkable that I found someone that would show that much attention to me.
And then as I grew more comfortable within you r embrace, I let my guard down and let you completely in.
I showed you inside my heart, where very few have ever been.
And once you were in my soul, things changed, you grew darker, colder, unlike the man that I loved.
You tell me that I am imagining things, that you haven't changed.
You tell me everything is too little to notice, and I say that is too much to ignore.
