Premium MemberThe Clock Struck One

At twelve forty-five, the clock struck one,
and when it had seen what it had done,
after sixty more minutes flew,
that timekeeper struck two.

It never learned, next to the shelf:
"Always keep your hands to yourself",
so, it continued its violent spree.
An hour later, it struck three.

Reinforcements came through the door -
but, too late, that timepiece struck four.
We could only hope to stay alive,
when Big Bad Ben struck five.

We knew we were in a terrible fix
when that chronometer struck six.
Three went to hell, four to heaven,
when that outsized watch struck seven.

The FBI came to investigate
when that mad sundial struck eight.
The national guard stood in a line,
and the ticking demon struck nine.

I prayed it would never happen again.
Just then, the awful beast struck ten.
When I cast my eyes up to heaven,
that hunk of gears struck eleven.

Into the hour's nature, my mind did delve,
as the clock, time's agent, struck twelve.
A riddle: how much blood did it spill?
Seventy-eight, it would kill.

And now, by order of fate's decree,
time is racing after me.
So, when I hear the clock strike one.
I know it's time to run.

Premium MemberDiamond Time

Time is a diamond you cannot mine,
You cannot find, buy or steal it,
you cannot borrow more
if you lose it.

So mind it like your
mothers's ring.
A keepsake bequeathed
once, and only once,
for you, and you alone,
as timekeeper.

Premium MemberRumor of Broken Time Keeper

At first we heard a timekeeper was broken
But how do you break a person?
Or was a timekeeper something else in this world?
I looked around for evidence of time.
I found no clocks, watches or sundials.

This is a strange planet, I admitted to my captain.
Maybe because all of the time dials have been stolen or broken.
That would explain the lack of structure.
People were running amok, as if they did not know whether to come or go.
Broken timekeepers are no joke.

Premium MemberWhom Do These Old Hands Belong

I stare at these old hands, where is the timekeeper?
Who can count my rings? Will they have to slice me?
How can these ancient hands be attached to my wrists?
Flipping them over I see that my pale skin is thinning
Three prominent blue veins under the skin touch my bracelets
Where is the time keeper? Why are the seconds so fast now?
I stare at these old hands, wondering to whom these old hands belong.

Gleeful happy joyful jubilantly wonderful exciting times
Unknowing about pandemics, upbeat feeling climbs.
Two-thousand-twenty sobering, history unprecedented.
Wishing China bat-eating fetish never invented.

Family laughter disappeared suddenly January weekend.
Hugging, kissing, contacting, unacceptable, distance recommend.
Turning USA upside downward, Covid-19 virus, dreadfully awful.
Society unbelievably vulnerable, saving family ultimate waffle.

Willingly educated medically, socially emotionally, mostly ready.
Epidemiologists attempt delivering materials timely, steady.
Many seeking antiquated untimely methods, yearning nostalgically.
Brilliant refreshingly, newfangled ideas prancing forward magically.

Answers forthcoming furiously, quickly, distrust poisoning recipe.
Many wishing timekeeper resetting calendar daybreak hippie.
Gleeful happy joyful jubilant wonderful exciting times
Unknowing about pandemic, upbeat feeling climbs.

Timepiece Reveals

Timepiece reveals desolation,
        forsaken lands of creation-
Barren branches sway in dismay,
  uneasy in life’s disarray.
No hope for alleviation.

        Wasteland betrayed by salvation,
one more soul dies from starvation.
           The timekeeper starts to decay-
Timepiece reveals.

    Ebon sky wears fascination,
lost in lonely desperation-
     For existence must go astray,
awaiting the break of dawn’s day.
   Minutes bound by condemnation-
                        Timepiece reveals.

When We Meet

That moment…where school uniform was all over as
the Timekeeper rang it, then noise began, with excitement
While educators had to rest so were we, we ran…

And there you were…brighter than your shadow
As I approached, lighter than your overflow
The tallness, the rare fit captive body, that figure
Gave you your uniqueness…perfectness, rare lips to lipstick
Done with vigilance with no leak so was your hip

Couldn’t hesitate it, that was extraordinary
As we glanced…I felt my rescue to my Psychological prison
Had no alternate but to grab your heart that sparkled from a distance
You lit my Heart while those flawless red lips caught my sight

Your beauty hit my shock and I was ready to converse
Your name was a music to my heart that kept my heart dancing your tune
It took off my fear
You gave me your numbers and couldn’t wait
And so I gave you a call and you felt the same

Now I’m proud of you and for that reason I choose you
Then let it forever be so…me and you

Premium MemberThe Sleeper

Alone I walk through the valley of unrest
my life but a dream within a dream.
Then you come to me as the evening wanes
and my heart skips a beat in each golden moonbeam.

You, an enigma that haunts my dreamland,
will never allow me to enter your realm,
so I'm left to the whims of the lonely Sandman,
as your image, my dreams you overwhelm.

Caught in between awake and asleep,
the bells on the clock, my master timekeeper.
Like the wings of the raven the darkness will keep
my visions of you, I'm the sleeper.

Not Good Enough To Die Young

They say the good die young
And so I keep getting older
Keep testing fate
Keep winning
So I keep getting bolder
My fire keeps burning colder
I like to point at the lightning
And then laugh at the thunder
I figure I got 6 years
And 6 months before I'm 6 feet under
There's no kind of food
That can feed this hunger
I chewed a hole in my soul
And yet I was still starving
Just the other day
I saw my heart on a milk carton
I may not be invincible
But shouldn't be alive either
I never needed a watch
My lungs are my timekeeper
One breath means one less
Looking forward to the one
After there's only one left

Kukurukuku

KUKURUKUKU!!!
He would say KUKURUKU
Every new day he wakes
KUKURUKUKU!!!
In my yard there was a cock
KUKURUKUKU!!!
He used to be my timekeeper
KUKURUKUKU!!!
Whenever he crows KUKURUKU
It means the night is far spent
KUKURUKUKU!!!
Wake up from your sleep
KUKURUKUKU!!!
For it’s time to go to the farm
KUKURUKUKU!!
He crows KUKURUKUKU…
As every birds fly out from their nest

Premium MemberThe Ying Yang of Life

THE YING YANG OF LIFE

The Ying and Yang of Life
requires that some do what they are born to
while others create the opposite venue.

We live in a world of duality
One cannot exist without the other

I tasted the fermentation of one
and got intoxicated with the result
of living in a cloud of sadness.

The pendulum swings and now as
the motion slows, I find that wisdom
ticks and tocks on both sides of an erratic clock.
Kept by a timekeeper who looks askew
while continuing to create destiny.

Timekeeper

The timekeeper,
holds time in his hands.
Like the tick of a clock,
or the filter of sand.
The timekeeper,
is round as the moon.
Counting the seconds,
till humanities doom.
The timekeeper,
judges my fate.
Whom I do treasure,
and whom I do hate.
The timekeeper,
 so wise and strong.
Yet he has a weakness,
that astonishes all.
The timekeeper,
know’s not one thing.
When his hour shall end,
when time's coo-coo clock sings.

The Boy Who Wasnt Ready To Grow

Amidst of all the sorrow,
stood still a boy who wasnt ready to be the man he supposed to grow,
In the decaying dime for bitter crumbs,
Only the slickest minds could climb,
The rising wall of the Notre Damme.

He wasnt ready,no.not yet.

The timekeeper keep blowing the whistle,he said the time is up,
young stud would u please keep up!

And so he ran like a scared prey on the hunt,
Out where no one could find,
in the Disneyland of the Outcast, away from the past,
Tranquilized under the moonlight glow.

He’s just the boy who wasn’t ready to grow.
