Love Letter From the Soul Xxxvi

Y,

Upside-down, backwards
worlds weep and burn
tried or true pulling into blue
the abandoned, the fright,
the flight
the silence whispering in my mind
taking hold of a long and lonely night

weary as the witch's brew
warning/warming the soul
we ball
we wither
destroyed
amongst it all

sink with the shiny coin
to the bottom of the abyss
or swim naked
to a portled bliss

blackness swans her heartless call
knifes and daggers
ripping vision's past
books bleed their final thoughs

I can't hold on
I can't hold on

running with the bulls
headstrong towards the headstones
frightened by the grizzly of the bears
the midgets holding mirrors
life too soon, can it disappear

and the coffee swirls
I see pain in that smile
swimming with my cream
deep in a heated cup
lusting to get out
loving to get out

the glass, it only cuts if you break it
come look at the impossibility
a cut above colour
curving/craving
the breast
the beast
that is me

Wet Mind

your far way
i have thoughs today
its passion blind
about sex
over you had a
WET MIND

My thoughs are running wild
I'm trapped in a moment in time
When were we young and in love
I recall your masculine voice
I recall your gentle and loving touch
I'm abandoned in yesterday
I live in the memories we made
You are constantly on my mind
Your touch lingers on my skin
I can feel the ghost of yesterday's kiss
Baby my mind won't let me rest
How can I sleep without you beside me

Premium Member The Cell

"A dreamer" but I am not, it's what they fail to see. "An escapee" I
am, in my solitude where I long to be.

My world inside out, a place where few have ever been. A cell most
would flee, I fight for time to be in.

There no one may reach me, just my own thoughts to illume. I see more
clearly when left to self, alone inside this room.

My cell is guarded by lock and key, no one cracks this shell. It's all
the fortress that I need when life's not quite so well.

No I am no "dreamer", but to my thoughs, I oft am found. It's the
solace of solitude that keeps me firmly still around.

Premium Member NIGHT THOUGHS

a day so fine - no ill in mind
a day spent free - nothing haunting me

now, I lay me down - they come around
those bad night thoughts - those night bad thoughts –
spun off devils carousel to show me twisted hell

they come at night - they enter my head
when out the light and covered in bed -
lay down content then it is spent
with such darkness my good is bent

i fight fears madness to keep my joy
that bedtime covets like a favorite toy

good is erased my sleep chased
when in bed sorrow hits my face
grows in my head clutches my heart
heaves my chest steals my breathe
and stabs to nab senseless tears

the devil seems fit to test my grit
more and more the older i get -
he speeds his carousel to grow fears well
it is a night battle i thus far handle
but remain unable to totally dismantle

come morn come internal joy
come night come devils decoy

Whispers of Your Soul

They do not hear the whispers
The whispers of your soul
Silent mumbles lay within
Through your mind, they roll
Through this, insanity strikes
Through this only spark of your sane life.

Keep them near, though keep your mind
For these others do not see
They have their own, so far from yours
Their meanings, there won't be
These simple thoughs, are yet your own
Through long attempts, remain alone.

Simple thoughts, that mean the most
To others they mean not a word
To you they are your mind, a whole
To them they will remain unheard
For this is the only toll
These whispers of your soul.

Money

Money grows for thoughs who have it.
There are too many people who barely see it.
It comes in and flows out like the tide, financial burdens in a constant ride.
You have more going out than ever comes in, lost in pound signs hoping your bet comes in.
Scratching away at cards to gain. Nothing again, they're all the same.
Life on the dull is boring and grim, no opportunities so you turn to a life of sin.
One man's loss is another man's gain, nothing in a poor mans life but hunger pain, a shock to the system that's let you down. Your short lived smile ends up a frown.
Lost and drifting left on a government shelf.
There's no help for you anywhere, you're lost in a system that does not care.

Notes From a Lifeboat

The thing about writing is that you have to organize your deck
Putting the marina ghosts locked inside the captain’s head
And when the itchy comes the breakers will stop
So you can finally see lightness in feelings, words and thoughs

They need to be filled, to be told
But, sometimes, you don’t have a story or a punchline to hold
My job it’s to write; it’s to feel the need for visualization
But life wants landscapes, reality and comprehension

I know he’s listening to the jazz music
And seeing the bubbles popping out of his glass of champagne
The pain from his brain doesn’t make him sane and vain
No, not today

I love that boy too much to bring him to my reality, thou
So, that’s just how things roll
No morals or good remedy from happy endings this night
I can tell that we need to emerge through dark profundities from time to time…
But do you think we might?”

Thinking of You

we re in rome
here you belong
its very bloom
we're be home soon
youin our thoughs too
THINKING OF YOU

As I Lay Here On My Bed

As i lay here onn my bed
Im thinking only of you Fred
As i lay here on my bed
when i wish to be with you instead
as ilay here on my bed
my wishes are going dead
be cause i havnt heard from you
as i lay here on my bed
only thoughs of you swimming around in my head
as i lay here on my bed
im crying my eyes out and boy they are so red
as i lay here on my bed
the words of this poem strikes the hairs upon my head
as i lay here on my bed
putting a strain upon my brain
im tryin not to sound so lame while yet im trying to explain
these feeling i have boy your the blame
as i lay here on my bed
i have this picture of you floating around in my head
as i lay here on my bed....

Kiss of Sunshine

Kiss of Sunshine
			By Elaine Roy

Warmed by a fire, that holds my heart
Cherish memories are like rays of sunshine; waiting for you to enlighten me
Were sorrow is cast a way, by happy thoughs and time unfolds, into the love we shared
My mind is etched in kisses and smiles, that you gave to me
Were tender touches fell, into a great big hugs
Our giggles, would brust into laughter; cause we always knew how to tickle each others hearts!
We shared , moments in time but we'll live on forever inside my heart!
I close my eyes and feel the warmth of the sun; it reminds me of you!
Your my kiss of sunshine, that bring spring back to my heart and mind!
