Tender Mercy

If you could feel it
As to be healed of
Tis that, with Day lamented
Soft eves, whose peace in.

Trace whose blown features
Lulled away so are
Tis those, with Day on its pyre
Soft eves, pink within.

Moon Tender

moon in holey slippers
   barely forced in
this foggy gold; coins on my face
           ~~~~
my engraved jewel —
   I pull a woman's skin
     over a little sleeping girl
           ~~~~
bed warmth fades; so turn it over —
   covered like the dark~
      side of the moon.

Mother Tender

total amazing!
very beautiful blessings!
a mother tender.

Muscovy and American Buff hydryds
where talked about.
Sceince would use two turkeys
2 muscovy duck
and two american Buff
to create a new taste.
Lacking the fishyness of goose
the gameyness of wild turkeys, geese and ducks
they looked to solve the evolutionary problem of
making a bird
that is cheap afordable
and willing to reproduce quickly and cheaply
for a public that is willing to buy.
"These species are genetically and taxonomically completely incompatible. Because they belong to different taxonomic groups (turkeys belong to the Galliformes order, while Muscovy ducks belong to Anseriformes), they cannot produce viable offspring"

Her heart
Soft as dawn, she hums the lullaby,
hands that mend small storms and tie loose bows.

Her spirit
Bright as noon, she teaches courage, maps, and truth,
laughing at skinned knees, cheering every bold step.

Her soul
Deep as night, she keeps the quiet watch
a steady lighthouse, fierce and tender,
foundation of home.

Premium Member My un-tender feet

run on the beach
when I first hit the sand
and my hair is down
and I don't have makeup on.

I found a shark tooth,
a little one
and I carried it
miles down
the shoreline

on the top
of my tongue
to keep it safe

so I could show it off
when I got home

and say to my mom
"I found one!"

something less
than valuable,
but memorable
to her and
the man she loves.

I ran barefoot,
Lady Godiva style
on the beach tonight

I saw an oyster bed
at low tide
when no one else
was looking

and a seagull waited
for a sand crab
to surface
for dinnertime.

Children were crying
and laughing,
and adults were fishing,
walking seriously,
looking for shark teeth,
and/or smiling.

I am back home
at the ocean,
where my soul sings
and I am alive.

Sincerity Confess Of Tender Heart's Touch

It's worth being thankful,
That I am hale and healthy;
Such touch my heart's depth.

It's never insane
To celebrate occasion...
That marks a new start.

It is whatever
Your sure decision views right,
Makes happiness last.

It's sometimes of God
To remove our lives' dangers;
Such protecting love!

You can't be happy,
Unless unhappiness strikes...
To value its grade.

My heart imagines...
How else would it have happened,
If not by His grace?

Now, it comes a day,
Mercy will always be speak...
Gratitude's leading role.

Tender Hesitation

I let days flow through my hands,
Their edges soft, like shifting sands.
I linger here, both broken and whole,
Where fear still knocks my careful soul.

I don’t know why, but it remains,
It touches more than it explains.
I care too much, then let it be,
Still something knocks inside of me.

This mischievous voice inside my head
Keeps on walking a fragile thread.
It's a ghostly presence I sometimes touch,
Yet still it knocks, just enough.

I move with it through changing days,
In tricky steps and short delays.
It sits with me, not right nor wrong,
A knock that stays steady but strong.

It’s part of how I think and feel,
It’s how I move, it’s how I heal.
A strange companion I can't ignore,
Will always knock my dented door.

The Room

No room for breath in the air
No space for words unkempt
Just a room to share
A room with beds to tempt
those who cannot bare
to leave without tender

No warnings left to air
No smoke left on my tongue
Just the taste of you is there
Waiting to be hung
From your hands— rare
Hands that hold me tender
