Supplication
Always the same thing
Deep prayer brings one answer
Don't ever give up

”The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.” Psalm 6:9 of the King James Bible
Supplication to Christ always
draws me near toward mercy's care
assured for nurturing welfare
that builds my faith to offer praise.
In blest prayer tested by trust
my soul wrestles with earnest plight
smiting any unbelief-blight
as supplication clears doubt’s rust.
Intimacy with God of grace
midst supplication’s divine thrill
guards my spirit in keeping still
safely secured by His embrace.
Around the Saviour’s loving bond
supplication presents my need
beseeching to be freed from greed
since He with miracles respond.
Supplication indeed brings bliss
despite hardship, sorrow and pain
for it leads to reaching-out gain
thanking the Lord from heart’s abyss.

Supplication Beneath a Summer Sky
As far as the eye can see,
Where waters and sky meet,
Lies that distant shore
Of sand, to forest
I encroach forthwith.
Blessèd be God’s creativity
And welcome me
With benevolence;
To an undeserved rest
At my journey’s end.
Where now I sulk in shame,
For claiming independence:
Through wanton squabbles,
I find I’m not invincible
Nor wish to remain mortal.
Take me for who I am:
My mind, unstable,
My character, questionable,
My wants, excessive;
My hope, forgiveness.
Look at us O heavens deity!
Look at us from Heaven Bower
Supplicants at thee are gazing
Bounties unto them thou shower
Midst of palest lights they singth
Hymns for Thee in Holy hour
I'm here looking at the sky,
cultivating the sun on my skin...
in inspiration
asking for rain,
waiting with faith,
the rain falls...!
If the rain comes,
I want to soak
along with the drying of the ground...
If the rain comes,
if i receive such a blessing,
so much consideration...
Here I will stay
here I will plant
my generation...
People hurt the heart in Thy world
As they know utmost it bleedeth
Ways of desert all are blood curled
Lonesome lass Thy hand there needth
Lord my Lord! Come once from skies
Lips are freezing by Death ice
And I know all know I breezes
How do play thou, play with candles
Shivering flames their blood squeezes
How their tearful eyes all handle?
Mournful mournful moths are flying
Kiss they light and fell they dying
Hand Divinist thou art writing
Tearful tales on thy book pages
Stars at night thy sky all lighting
Meanwhile I free birds from cages
Flames are flickering, blooms are sighing
Moonlit nights are worth for dying
When shall this darkness yield to the sun's light?
When shall my eyes see the day dry and bright?
My heart is drowning in a sea of fright
Where I paddle but no end is in sight.
Grant me succour,Oh! Spirits full of might,
Grant me strength to paddle and row aright,
Lend a helping hand in this lonely fight
To conquer, prevail and embrace delight
As beams of light overwhelm this dark night.
Krishna has an ink effect in our greater supplication, these days!
How come?
From when?
For quite a few days! Since I returned from Bangladesh.
It seems quite a hazard!
Are you in truce with your landlady?
That is another epic ! An enormous one !
Attuned harmony, cryptocurrency in scripted Java, and Architectural Parthenon, ding dong, in ping pong
And I simply pondered
Which trash can served the son
In serving chores for "Tapati" , the grandiose mentor?
O, Fix yourself, just look at you!
You are just an advertised face of Sandalina Sandal soap , these days!
Have you ever washed your holy month of Sha'ban,
of days bygone?
Or a pure "Miswak?"
How far are you? In your own mirror?
Till the recorded reels are disposed,
to the fullest extent!
An unknown rural tune is surmising in only fluke news
A floating trochaic, in enormous hypes!

Sing we now our adoration,
sing we now our hymn of praise,
for thy name is our salvation,
and a fount of life always.
God, our Father, high in heaven,
hallowed be thy holy name.
We confess we've grieved thy Spirit,
cast our sins into the sea,
purify us, cleanse our hearts,
that we may be restored to thee.
May thy kingdom come, thy will
be done on earth as done in heav’n.
All the words of every language
never could begin to tell
all the joy of our thanksgiving
for thy gift; Immanuel.
Give us daily bread, forgive
our debts, and lead us far from sin.
O what comfort, Lord, what joy
to cast our cares into thy hand!
Hear our prayer and supplication,
that thy grace would heal this land.
For the kingdom, power, glory
are forever thine, amen.
An unsupplied Nigerian family,
Often cited in advisory homily
And likened to the ones in Galilee,
Though unable to mark its Golden Jubilee,
To God began a supplication,
Veritably a formal letter application
For an easier catching of Daily Bread
That often made it see red:
The 2024 African Cup
For Nigerian Hands to lift up…
Now and again, Ear-Splitting Amen
But mostly by its men:
One of them writer of leaflet
Hoping to jump to a pamphlet
His own ‘Amen’ a much powerful belief
In its sure wonderful relief…
And for being The often intensive,
Always to A Devil The Subversive:
Its hour a thing far-off ears could predict,
An hour that could never them contradict…
A Nigerian family
With its goat lost, A Billy
Might still weep after a homily.
To which The Best was a simile.
Just believe in the power
Of devotional prayer.
SUPPLICATION
Oh, my Lord,
All my life I have been trying to follow the paths of
Righteousness,
Through
The precipitous mountains of temptations
Holding
Fast onto your commandments, for fear I fall over the
Devastating cliffs of blind passions, and into
The fathomless ravines of torturing sin,
Praying
All the way that one day, blessed by your holly mercy,
To be worthy as to get just a glimpse, from afar,
Of
Your glorious eternity.
AMEN!

O Allah, please forgive our sin
Hear our cry and grant us the courage of heart
Please grant us to be steadfast
Please answer our du'as and forgive sins of the past.
During these suffocating times ...
We seek your mercy, please grant us true peace of mind
During these uncertain times...
We seek your wisdom , Please grant us wisdom of true kind
O , the turner of our hearts
Revive us in holy spirit to proceed with all our integrity
O , the know-er of all knowledge
May your bliss touch tomorrow's way toward serendipity.
I was remembering a supplication
Of praising the supreme
Of asking strength to distance me
Further from the sin
Like the distance between sunrise and sunset.
I was remembering a supplication
Of a serene mind
Free of anxiety and depression
Free from stress and pain
Like the distance between heaven and hell
I was not sure, I only saw a shadow
A shadow like my mother, I thought.
I still am not sure.
I do not like how bed bugs prey
They feast upon us night and day
Praise God be kind
Grant peace of mind
And blow those blood-suckers away!
