There's something magical about sunbeams!
Spellbound by sunlight in my waking hours,
those rays that come alive post morning dreams
start up my day with brilliant superpowers.
Miraculous how sunshine fills our days.
The Sun, a star, has captured in its sphere
this planet Earth, that feeds upon those rays-
and through my window now lifts me with cheer.
From way above, as seen in endless space-
post the creation of our Galaxy-
Sun's energy splays with a warm embrace-
now flies across my room to rapture me.
Oh, wrap me in your light, embracing Sun-
while my new day with you has just begun.

The 3 Traders
Now that the Orient knows we're here
The Superpowers came to trade their stuff so dear…
First were entrepreneurs of the Red Giant
Meaty foods, fine clothings, housewares so elegant
Second were adventurers of the Sub-Continent
Strange gems, music & language here they sent
Third were missionaries of the Cradle of Islam
Believers of this system to Allah come
…These Chinese, Indians & Arabs our ancestors befriended
Their influence upon us never goes depleted!

It doesn't matter how powerful a military is.
When there is nothing left to take or give.
Militaries will perish just like the rest of us.
Only then, will they find they weren't that tough.
There'll be no democracies or political gains.
Only remnant leftovers of the nuclear rain.
When superpowers feel they have nothing to lose.
The launching of all nukes will be the thing to do.
There will be no winners left around to brag.
Just an atmosphere of contaminated gas.
Even hiding in bunkers should be abundantly clear.
That you cannot come out for thousands of years.
Peace, peace, and sincere peace
We all wish, dream and confuse about peace
Are we really serious, thirsty and hungry for peace
Even though the gunships and cannons are set and ready
To go, to attack the weak and the imagined enemies?
Do we truly want a world of brotherly harmonies?
Yet, superpowers invest their time, ingenuity, and moneys
In smart drones, powerful guns and well-trained armies
Are we sure that we want lasting peace?
This world is made of corrupt goons, polygamists, liars and bullies
Warmongers are hypocritical, strange, sneaky and devious
This agitprop about peace is delusional headlines or breaking news
To startle or to dimwit elderlies, idealists, and crying babies
Politicians are godawful sensationalists on steroid
Where muzzled reporters and anchors are ridiculed and toyed
By elected pogromists in search of free publicities
Yet, yes we yearn for peace and tranquility in the burgs and cities
Peace is about coming with clean and caring hands
To share the streams, the land, the sand and the highlands.
Kundalini, the coiled serpent.
Waiting to be properly awakened.
To begin the raising of the truth.
The answers to all the hard questions.
Of life, love, and the reason for living.
The serpent of energy fills with light.
To supply the passion of character.
And reconnoiter this suit of being.
Walking on pillows, a foot off the ground.
When the worry wanes and joy takes its place.
You become the one you were meant to be.
To master the Kundalini fire.
For it has the power to enlighten.
Yet like all fire must be respected.
Used like a tool, not like a fool.
One could become like the saints of old.
With miracles and superpowers.
And the answers to all those questions.
Of life, love, and the reason for living!
We can do hard things
Yes we can, we can be the better man,
or woman.
If that seat looks uncomfortable,
bring a cushion.
We do not walk alone,
our world is not so dark
We all have our superpowers
and our individual spark,
We shine and make our mark.
And it shouldn’t feel scary,
we need to embrace the journey.
Jump into joy,
express imagination and energy.
The enthusiasm we bring,
the willingness to try new things,
we are blessed,
we really should sing
Now imagine the chaos that choir would bring.
Yes ok, sometimes we do forget that important thing.
We might become insecure sometimes and cling,
Also we are masters of how to wing,
difficult situations.
But our courage,
now that could shake a nation.
Flourishing, hyperfocused, accomplishing great things.
Shut the door on the paranoia,
take a breath, rest,
let it go.
Because I promise you.
We can do hard things you know
When confessions are needed and due in course,
Mine may leap ahead to the front of the line.
As if my superpowers have given me new wings,
And where I can admit to , not decline.
So then I kneel and bow my head asking,
For some forgiveness of the time in between.
Since it seems like a month of Sundays have passed by,
From the last time that was to intervene.
After passing the buck of guilt to Father time,
The admissions soon point towards solitude.
As if my lack of commitment and community,
Was not my own, but all others attitude.
Yet my thoughts soon reflect causing concession,
Taking ownership for all the misdeeds.
Only then did I notice my burden lifting,
As if my prayers directly answered my needs.
This was the moment where grace fell upon me,
And where forgiveness took over for all sin.
Even though my efforts will try not to repeat them,
My history shows I learn slowly, so I'm likely to begin again.
yeah …
we all feel so hopeless at times -
the end of our rope …
it’s part of our humanness
and our constant questioning of what role
we play in ‘Le Grand Dessein’ …
but here’s the thing -
we are ALL superheroes … that’s right
YOU … and this fool called ‘me’
we are champions of life
because we all possess two VERY powerful, utterly limitless, tools for living:
love … and imagination!
there are no bounds to either one -
they both transcend time, space, and the
oft’ chaotic confines of our ids …
they come in endless abundance, and with
no rules whatsoever!
they are yours and mine to explore without
restriction or constraint
and the more you use either one,
the more you’ll crave them …
I promise!
so, grab ahold of your superpowers -
(especially when hope seems lost)
wield them with kindness,
thoughtfulness,
and intent …
and see just how far they can
take you!

Scrolling cosmic pages is my habit now,
A synchronised life, no nine to five and no alarm.
Careless and with no bills to pay;
Reality is, I’ve mastered the play.
Essentially, I’m just using a cheat code,
Divine numbers that construct this mode.
Remember, you are the player and the game,
Eigenmode vibrating energy in a singular flame;
Abilities are enhanced in this cosmic suit you wear,
Latent superpowers were locked away by fear.
It’s divine, the universe crafted by yourself,
Tap into the fabric at the bottom of the stars,
Intricated in the glow that is settled on the shelf.
Eager, I grab my reckoning and share my story;
Suppress the ego and know, it’s all remuneratory.

Isn’t it what we all want to be?
Someone who all can see
Is stronger and braver,
Man of steel or greater.
Could that be you, or me?
What I know it seems
Is it may not be,
Hasn’t been for me,
The man on the screen
Who has been the hero there for me.
Superpowers are great
If that is what you are hoping to find.
If that is your fate,
I guess that is fine
Since that strength lies within.
I will give you this.
There are sure to be times
When we each and all are called on to be
The hero or heroine in some form or fashion.
Hope I will be ready for that occasion.
When that someone needs me to be
What another has been to me,
The savior from grief or self.
Courage to act, wisdom to share,
I hope then in me the hero is there.

The comic book of our life will be riddled with plot twists yet our perseverance persists
Can't delete scenes that our history holds but can decide how the next chapter unfolds
Character development coming along as superpowers building up to make us strong
Choice in overcoming your origin story to rise up from the ashes and reclaim glory
The grand finale is breaking the link in the chain as things will never again be the same
But first a hero will be needed for your tale to begin so dust off your cape and step on in
One part of me is the mastermind.
The other reminds me that yes, I am a mastermind!
Together, they are invincible.
Without both, I am ruined.
I first became dizzy.
As uncertainty sets in.
I begin to question my conspiracies.
I begin to wonder if calling myself a mastermind-
Is a symptom of delusions becoming solidified.
The two parts of me…
Which I thought were protecting me like superpowers.
Were actually putting me in danger.
As my mind becomes whole again-
I realized I had been acting on ideas that were incomplete.
I realized that the two parts ruined each other.
Leaving one person behind.
A person who has been ruined.
I have power; this war I will win; Putin thought,
Hydrogen and nitrogen bombs war crews threw;
Ukrainian troops too like classic heroes fought,
Grief, fear, and rage within the hearts of people brew;
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, help from nations sought,
Some shammed to show concern; in truth, away they flew;
We're superpowers, the Russians float in pride,
It's then the Ukrainians took them for a ride...!
NATO battle tricks the Ukrainians did adopt,
Vengeance from Russians with vigilance they blew;
With bombs, within Russians, hatred topped,
Within Ukrainians, lo, patient calmness grew;
When Putin thought the Ukrainian heads are cropped,
From resilience, Ukrainians, their strength drew,
Thousands of powerful tanks the Russians lost,
Conceit crossed, tossed and frost, finally did exhaust...!!!

The beautiful bride for the world prepared,
by Europe's colonial powers divided.
Her priceless worth was seen and hardly spared;
hence the need to woo her was decided.
Two great superpowers made their advances,
as she danced before their lustful glances.
Now she's wooed by none other than the Chinese;
who dangle their bread crumbs and putrid cheese;
seeking relentlessly her heart to please.
Africa is no doubt a priceless jewel,
historically contested for by a duel.
Hot like chocolate lave cake right out of the oven
Beautiful like the mesmerising sight of the sunset meeting the sunrise
Tender like a bird building a nest to protect her baby eggs against bad weather
Sweet like your favourite dessert that’s worth dying for
Artsy like a modern-day blend of Ansel Adams and Shakespeare
Bold like the reincarnation of 007 with Wonderwoman’s superpowers
Brave like a soldier fighting his arch rivals, defying all odds
Resilient like a warrior, not giving up even with more wounds than blood in his body
Intuitive like a striking fusion of an empath and telepath using her gift to perfection
She’s more special than she’ll ever realise
And for the eyes who see through her heart
You’ll see she’s a trophy worth even more than a Nobel Prize
