Best Superpowers Poems
All insecurities that hold me- in a flash are gone completely, I break free
I am not powerless or useless, and I am not careless- unless I choose to be
- I am not a hero, not even a zero, however. . this I know
I am me, powerful as that may be
~ A powerful little scribble ~
Always spoken from the heart
Author's Note- Thoughts such as these seem to find my muse at times. In order to display a powerful message.
My powers have few limits.
My powers are no gimmick.
Three blinks, blinked fast,
Grants my powers most vast.
If my wish is to fly,
I can Peter Pan the sky.
Time is mine to travel,
Freeze, bend or unravel.
While invisible as breeze,
I watched Adam and Eve
Grapple over that apple
To end up forever baffled.
I can heal a hurt body,
Smooth what was rocky,
Stop looming travesty,
Derail would be calamity,
But for no one’s sake
Am I able to duplicate.
All evil that I can’t undo
Is because I am not two.
Much that’s brutal and cruel
Still dominates and rules,
Leaving me to feel inept
Despite my powers so adept.
My Super Power Is Contest

I have many powers handed down from generations,
My father gifted me many obscure competent abilities,
My favorite power is the capability of regeneration,
But being able to do that is probably a big liability.
I fly in the night and tomorrow’s sights appear,
My mind foresees the future as my arms spread,
I’ve seen the look in their eyes, astounded with fear,
As my hands whisk away objects over their heads.
The fated days arriving are seen when there’s trouble,
A gun may be shot and I can sweep away the bullet,
I immediately throw the perpetrator in a glass bubble,
I fly to the cliff, land and effortlessly push and pull it.
When danger arrives I sense the apprehension,
Poor lost souls can’t fight off demons themselves,
The towns people have absolutely no comprehension,
I’m bummed my powers are lost at the strike of twelve.
The witches and warlocks wish they could do what I can,
I don’t need potions to conjure up my fluent capacities,
They gather and get jealous with rage and don’t understand,
They try to compete, how dare they have the audacity.
See, my powers have been given to be used for good,
I’ve learned to adapt and fill my spirit with adoration,
I realize many people get confused and are misunderstood,
I have many powers handed down from generations.

If I had the power to freeze,
I wouldn't let my friends know about it.
"We have a freak in school!" that's
what many kids would say in school,
making me sadly sit alone on a bench
or in the locker room...
I wouldn't let my parents know too;
they would take me to a doctor
who would pretend to be a nice man,
only to treat me like a lab rat!
Well, still I would find it cool to have
such powers I had,
for I would not only prolong the ice-creams'
chill, but also cool nuclear reactors,
put out fires, and help stop global warming.
I would be a super hero in the night!
My superpower sucks, it’s given up and gone, I feel like a flower, without the sun, energy said bye, motivation disappeared, even standing up, makes me feel weird, it could be my age, or maybe my diet, or maybe my thoughts, are having a riot, so many excuses, for doing naff all, my slow walk before, has become a crawl, give me a battery, or maybe some gas, and if that all fails, a kick up the ass, I’m saying I’m lazy, I need to do more, but writing this poem, I’m lay on the floor, don’t want to get up, don’t want to move, no one to impress, nothing to improve, no one to save, no super villain to fight, maybe this life, is my kryptonite, don’t get me wrong, I’m not always like this, one minute the hulk, the next peppa pig, then all of a sudden, my spidey sense tingles, I’ll sort it out soon, after eating these pringles, there goes the batphone, can’t be important, probably someone, selling insurance, give me a break, I’ll do it tomorrow, I’m not after, pity, help , blame or sorrow, my suits in the wash, it gives me my power, you ask what’s that smell, yeah I need a shower, no one needs me, and I’m happy with that, temper of bear, attitude of cat, I’ll just stay here, and look at these walls, I’m in the best place, when Jupiter falls, it’s time for a nap, this super life’s tough, I’ll add it to a list, with all the other stuff.
Ain't nothing like the scent of pretty spring flowers
Reviving our spirits, enjoying memories by joyous hours
Strolling through green pastures
Like paintings by the masters
Enjoying the magic of nature's stunning superpowers
Lethal Thermobaric Bombs
Also known as vacuum bombs
Sucking the oxygen out of the air
For many miles. Nuclear and cluster bombs
And the worst of the sickest bombs
Of all: obvious racism at the borders
Life is never, never, never fair
Even in war, for many brothers and sisters
The shelling will not stop
Too many explosives are being popped
Innocent and young people are dying
And the hypocrites, the racists
The murderers, the war-mongers
The cowards, the propagandists
The shenanigans, the monsters
The fakers, the sinners and the liars
Are on the very top of their games
What a shame! They shoot all blames
Toward the victims and the innocents
Remember the shameful wars
Remember the shattered lives
Remember the blaring sirens
Remember the supersonic sounds
Remember the deafening cries
Remember the powerful roars
The constant shelling makes no sense
Because children are being killed
That's a lethal and deceptive ploy
Real humans should build
Not bomb, not destroy
I am pissed
For Peace
It's shameful and despicable that no one wants
To live by the rules. Where is the common sense?
