It seems like your finances have evaporated
but don't fret sweetheart
today I emerged victorious
with a small sum of money
and wish your dear soul to share in this joy
So let the poetic
beauty of turning setbacks
into opportunities
inspire you to navigate
the realms of financial security
Plus, choose reward
for your unwavering commitment

The Super-rich
Wealthy people, rich men
find sitting on a heap of money only
is not fulfilling
Therefore, many wealthy men dabble in
something else, like car racing or dabbling
in gift cards promising a large sum of money
For the "richest man in the world" interest
is political, helping to shape the future
Elon Musk is the person who thinks he has
made the right choices, helping Trump
His adoration for Trump, based on the hero
worship and not about sound politics
He is an ingénue that makes him take side
even when he might be chasing
a white elephant.
Then again, should he succeed, he will get
blood on the tooth and dream big dreams
Since he is not born in the USA, change
the law and become president of the USA
In his mind, he is a wizard, a dreamer
who has had his fantasies come true
Since he tends to be autocratic
behavior might end up in the fascist camp
That is not what I wish on a potentially nice
person, like Elon Musk
Easily kicking open The floodgate of panic,
The quickening of blood circulation, titanic:
A once normal breathing is disturbingly hoarse
And the modest in behavior dreadfully coarse.
Eyes now pop out of their homely sockets,
Relaxed hands out of trousers pockets.
Some hearts are ready to make their last murmurs,
The headaches of this moment, crushing hammers.
Fluid secretions choose knotted temples,
With bangs on one’s door supplying more samples:
Sometimes over a mismanaged mammoth sum of money,
For which one hasn’t yet informed one’s attorney.
Fear often would follow a demeaning rape,
Whose legal implications one foresaw its shape
Or some business, very untidy, completely rotten?
Which one had contracted but long forgotten;
Death now in a hurry to visit
And one doesn’t want to meet it.
To Fear
I say, ‘’Tufia!’’
Fie!
Die!
Readily unsettling the mind
And the body does bind;
Meaningful activities to a halt, grind.
Selling a cottage
I had my little house up for reluctant sale
couldn`t get the reward I wanted decided not to sell
I`m moving to Cascais, and it takes time.
he cottage can stand here till it sags and needs
to be painted, too many memories we have grown old
together I need a facelift my fake tan can`t cover
up the cracks.
I knock on the door two ladies outside they wanted
to buy my house for the right sum of money,
for a moment I hesitated, money is money.
Sorry, it is no longer up for sale and my little house
breathed again.
Did the maid ever tell you
To wipe off your younger sibling's poop from the tiled floor?
Did she- that worthless human- ever tell you
To wash the giant saucepan
in which last night's millet was mingled for supper?
You clenched your fist in defiance,
You darkened your face with a frown, tough enough to ignite a thunder strike,
The clouds howled,
And grumbled in your favor
Don't do her work, they seemed to urge you.
***** is nothing more than a housemaid, you said to your fuming self.
***** is paid to do all this work.
She pockets a hefty sum of money at the end of every month.
To wash saucepans.
To clean plates
To give leg, once in a while, to Daddy
When Mommy is in the labor suite,
Birthing another human being.
Daddy emerged from his bedroom
Where he'd been for a wanking session
Found you and the maid- his maiden- on the verge of eating each other up.
He flexed his biceps
Stuck his index finger out
Pointed at the darned saucepan
Pointed at you
You saw it in his eyes,
The maid was his maiden.
Don’t get head stamped with the devil call sign,
neon bar code ...

If you sell your soul,
be made human merchandise
You’re gonna get locked up
in a freezer
Have your salvation permanently put on ice
Being made a cold case
comes with a price
Six sixty six
You struck a bargain
that no sum of money can fix
666
You thought you could cover your sins
with a cobra hood
Why did you purchase evil for good?
Aah ... when you get tricked,
it’s always understood
Playing the whore,
had you lusting for more and more
Ravenous evil tastes
had you greedily licking
the bloody juices off the plate
Filled up your gluttonous jowls
Coroner report says it was murder most foul
You killed yourself for what,
to get triple six stamped on your cold morgue butt?
Being made a suicide patsy
comes with a price
Six sixty six
You took out a bad loan,
and no amount of usury can cover it
666
You paid one devil of a price ...
Triple six has bought your cursed soul
a one-way cruise ticket to Hades,
on the ghost ship Hell Afterlife
This coin depicting a head of man with laurel
is a rare treasure from the American History,
as an auctioneer I could sell it for a large
sum of money: its estimated price is over
two-thousand-dollars, it shows it was minted
in eighteen-ninety-four, come forward and bid!
I found it among pennies I saved for rainy days,
there must be at least four thousand of them;
my collection includes contemporary silver dollars,
many generations must pass to accumulate value...
any other collector would action them any day!
I jealously hold onto them to own a piece of History:
how they glitter in glass cases on my walls!
I may donate them to the American History
Museum in Manhattan and see them on display!
Many auctioneers would love to get hold of my silver coin,
their mind is set solely on greed, not thinking of its history
which can unravel fascinating details about of its minting process;
the unknown artisan was very skilled in itching date and image
on both sides to testify the greatness and wealth of this nation,
but Americans don't realize that they are very wealthy indeed!
A Day Before Christmas
The night in Cascais looks enchanting, coloured light
Farris wheel and decorated streets… across the bay
I see the village of Estoril, where ex kings used to live;
there is a big Casino and I went there once, I know
what hell looks like blinking light and hypnotized eyes.
A man once won a large sum of money, casinos must
see to it that someone wins to keep the hope alive
for other punters, who will gamble more in the hope
to win riches and be happy. Greed is a fervent wish to
find security and gladness, but one cannot have too
much money the hunt for vague contentment goes on.
What happened to the winner? Did he buy a house
and a Ferrari? Or did he think that if he won once more
he would be really happy. I can see, from my terrace
that behind bright light there is a gloomy darkness of
utter despair. I wonder if the lucky winner lives there.
Clare's hands were clasped upon her lap,
upon her crown, a veiled black lace hat.
A shattered calm she wore;
that took on strength
self-steadied after several drinks
If one dared look closer, to penetrate -
then one would see through the black veil's lace,
and reveal a woman, blank of face,
that long ago had left this place.
Clasped hands
on which shine a
diamond ring
lustre lost,
as do those things
that shine, then dull.
A lover's token
which she pushed and pulled.
Parades of people floated past
condolences said and sent
as people slowly came and went.
Clare remained
with hands still clasped upon her lap
diamond dully staring back.
All had gone, as had he,
as Clare fell to her knees
face pale and pasty white
searching for that brilliant light
that never came.
Clare stumbled out into the night
guided by vodka and
lace veiled sight
alone again; Clare cried insane
until a large sum of money came
as did twice before
when on her finger
shone a diamond ring -
lustre lost - as do those things
that shine, then dull
that push, then pull
In her closet, near the back
waits a favorite
veiled black lace hat
