Sweat-drenched heat victims crank up the AC’s.
Temperate weather has bid us adieu.
Energy is sapped; for some, optimism grows dim.
Alleviation follows the occasional rainstorm.
Many rely on swimming pools for brief respite.
Yesterday was hot; today will be a record-breaker.

Premium Member A COLD WINTERs STEAMY

The staticky-stars climax under intense blanket of Winter glow.
Your spouse can’t see your spirited green eyes that burn slow.

The friction of campfire sticks, the satiny slipperiness of moon.
Flames of blue, orange and red won’t be overcome too soon.

Pert rose petals, that once were goosebumpy and ice cold,
scintillate like fireworks until the grand finale’s loosed, uncontrolled.

Warm breath in a cold Winter’s steamy and a restless beast.
Lips lavish over late night feast, matches singe, sate increased.

Squirming under the leisurely complement of coals, coalescing,
Coolness of a blue lake vaingloriously countering, distressing.

A long midnight’s thrashing, sans pillory; the high beams foray.
Pillow talk, a sensuous squeeze, a high-diving elixir bouquet.

Ah those stars brilliantly glowing on a long Winter’s night!
Those limbs blush, rose petals crush, with unfettered light.

Sometimes it gets too steamy
Reality insists
On distorting our perception
As this heartbeat still persists

Sometimes it gets too frosty
When the winter comes to call
We scrape to see the road ahead
A strange fear that we'll fall

Sometimes though, there's a new mist
Corrupting twenty twenty
A sadness from a place within
An absence and an empty

Yet crystal clear is memory
Hopeful brightness never lost
As misty doesn't linger
Whether tears, or steam or frost

O, to write verse steamy and romantic
I perceived as a treat semantic

Alas and alack, 'twas an anvil's press
      A sea-wreck, I, of a murderess

Premium Member A Very Steamy Fantasy

Hundreds of lascivious lovers,
Oh, if there were only youth and time!

Like delicious bon-bons, in red velvet,
To party on, just mine, and only mine!

Of course, this is but humor, and fantasy utterly divine.
Better than a yummy steak or a bottle of chilled,
expensive, Merlot wine!

It’s fun to pen poetry that is more daring than about my
childhood.
Have to go man hunting, ah, but..if only I could,

a campfire kiss
ignites love's conflagration
                                   .......mosquitoes hover

tan lines and tee shirts
sun block SPF 50
                     ....a slippery slope

sensual moments
a pollinators duty
                     ......unrequited love

Steamy Relations

The steam off from her coffee,
Was clouding her shades,
When she hinted it to me,
No free lunches -
Everyone pays.

A thousand naked stories,
And this - just one of them days,
But I was just another blind match,
As I smiled my famous phrase.

I dreamt that she now lay upon her satin blue,
Called me, 'Hey babe, over here',
Well I drowned in her smile, but
She's knowing as I look around this cafe,
Everyone pays,
Oh yeah, everyone pays

Well I don't wanna' waste oh my whole life,
Figuring Eve's mind -
No mind, but
How much baby for your time?
How much you empress for your time?
Got to know., for another hour,
Of your time.

Yes, that steam off from her coffee,
Was clouding her shades,
When she hinted it to me -
No free lunches - there I knew...
Everyone pays.

Hot tub, you and I
Beneath an Anaheim sky
In God's heaven am I

Thick, turquoise robes
Tropical drinks with ice
Tonight, more than nice

Infinite souls, we
Locked for tonight is God's sky
You have my heart's key

Clasping Steamy Heart's

Two heart's shaking hands:
Portrays their interaction of love;
When soever my mate is with me..
He persuades with warm long enduring hugs.
Often we bond to indicate our reunite-
After long days..
feels so fortunate and grasps comfort
when a heart sticks whilst words are on curb.
Hugging my tall partner gives much essence
As I could hear the rhythmic drumbeats
through my ears.
While he could also feel the pounding thumps
like a fluttering butterfly in his belly.
Therefore we immerse in the stimulation of raised oxytocin
which further tones our self-esteem..
Giving gleamy aura to our faces.

Only for you to come

Stirred
Reawakened
Feverish memories
In unison hearts pulsating
With torrid intensity
Of eons ago
A lifetime
Lost in a universe
Of cravings ablaze
Steamy and wild
The days of our youth
A world unto themselves
Devoured

Steamy Dreams

Remember when the ground
beneath your feet would tremble?
Sending shivers from your toes
Right up to your nose?
That feeling you got looking over the wall,
Up on your tip toes to make you so tall.
That feeling of sheer intrepidation,
As you looked beyond and saw the station?
Then came the moment you were waiting for,
As the train burst out of the tunnels maw.
Covering you from head to foot,
In glorious steam and sticky soot.
Oh! The days of steam are now gone,
But all of your dreams still linger on.

Hot sizzler
Steamy friend
Stormy Sunday
Here again
Let it go
Feel the flow
Ocean roars
All outdoors
July fly
Lights the night
Solstice glow
Magic sight
Slow hazy
July noon
So lazy
Cancer moon
August ways
Shorter sun
Dog days nigh
School’s begun
Cool on down
Steamy friend
Your grand time
Gone again
