A Very Steamy Fantasy

Hundreds of lascivious lovers, Oh, if there were only youth and time! Like delicious bon-bons, in red velvet, To party on, just mine, and only mine! Of course, this is but humor, and fantasy utterly divine. Better than a yummy steak or a bottle of chilled, expensive, Merlot wine! It’s fun to pen poetry that is more daring than about my childhood. Phantom, Dearest and thoughtful analyst you. I was raised a strict Catholic. I would not dare dream of such a fantasy then. That came decades later. It seems all I did was study, go to Church, was spoiled to the hilt without siblings..and loved the stage. Such thoughts of men as yummy chocolates? Came later in life. Besides, it ‘‘twas but a poem. Panangiota..THANK YOU. Mostly males responded, except for Darlene, thanks. Maybe men are bon bons, when all is said and done?

Steamy. Of all the arts, poets/poetess have the most insatiable appetites. Fortunately, most us have brains as well, and try to limit desires, emotions to healthy moderation...though it is a challenge, I confess. Well said. Love it!
