Steamy Relations

The steam off from her coffee,
Was clouding her shades,
When she hinted it to me,
No free lunches -
Everyone pays.

A thousand naked stories,
And this - just one of them days,
But I was just another blind match,
As I smiled my famous phrase.

I dreamt that she now lay upon her satin blue,
Called me, 'Hey babe, over here',
Well I drowned in her smile, but
She's knowing as I look around this cafe,
Everyone pays,
Oh yeah, everyone pays

Well I don't wanna' waste oh my whole life,
Figuring Eve's mind -
No mind, but
How much baby for your time?
How much you empress for your time?
Got to know., for another hour,
Of your time.

Yes, that steam off from her coffee,
Was clouding her shades,
When she hinted it to me -
No free lunches - there I knew...
Everyone pays.

.... Good write, nicely described, Lemuel. Too right, - we're all part of a big game - - accompanied by a smile makes it feel less of a farce.
