She's Still With Me

She came tonight, a whisper soft,  
As I lay reading, lost in thought.  
Her warmth curled close, a phantom grace,  
And time dissolved in her embrace.  

The book fell silent in my hand,  
Her breath was there, I swear I felt.  
A tear broke free, then came the flood—

Irony nor spirit of time

Five sons well can live
In dad’s one-room, a palace, 
Scarce in five-room space
Can the five sons spare some place
For aged parents.
Why just blame the spirit of time,
Or even irony of time,
Blame thyself O man,
Think much as ye can,

Where the wildflowers grow

When i die,
Lay me by
Where the wildflowers grow

Then as I lay,
You can pray
For my presence to ‘round you flow

And as winter calls,
And the ice falls
And makes my grassy mound rise with snow

Let spring bloom,
Flowers on my tomb
Grow in the sun’s heat and the wind’s gentle blow

As summer rises,
Bringing heat to new sizes
And away my spirit

SPIRIT THAT REFUSE TO DIE

Silent prayers swallowed by fear
Behind cold walls and guarded gates
Voices crushed beneath heavy boots
Lives erased in whispered hate.

Families torn, dreams confined
Faith hunted like a fading flame
Eyes that plead for freedom’s light
Caught in endless pain.

The world watches, silent, still
As hope flickers, barely alive
But their spirit, though battered
Refuses ever to die.

she knows this and comes to me often
unfortunately, sometimes I am in a car
I am sad to report I have hit and killed four deer

while walking in the woods I heard footsteps in the leaves next to me
it was a beautiful thin doe; she was matching my steps, walking alongside
feeling

Sunrays warm my blushed cheeks--
calmness of daybreak dream's sweet adieu,
daylight spills through the meadow,
raising closed buds into bloom.

There, in sereneness before the world wakes,
the golden light whispers with gentle grace,
not just light, but presence—
ancient, not in sight yet felt,
it speaks

In a realm where kindness has vanished,
Where no light dares to appear,
The echoes of darkness reign,
