This Endless War

It is sad, Has the Human race gone mad? Including you and me. We must be blind if we cannot see, The anxiety and consternation, That's felt in every nation. Aid is needed everywhere, Is it too much for folk to bear? Putting others troubles on the shelf, And concentrate only on themselves. Nature too has shown its rage, Devastation on every page, Of the news, Is it any wonder humans have the blues? Why did Covid 19 appear? Was it from the stratosphere? Or some spirit up above, Trying to teach us how to love, Each other evermore. Which would help to stop, THIS ENDLESS WAR.

It remains beyond belief that no pandemic in recorded history has come with waivers and exemptions, yet government continue to authorise waivers and exemptions for COVID-19! What god would tolerate such stupid children?

Thank you, Kim. Doesn't matter how we try to put the state of the world out of minds for just a moment it is always there. Let us hope that common sense and compassion will prevail so that the future looks brighter for everyone. Take care ... Shirley
