Spanish Music

I don't know how,
To speak Spanish,
But I love the music,
I hope that one day,
I'll learn the language,
And sing my heart out.

My Translator

“Mom, they called my name I won.”
“Mijo, estoy tan orgullosa de ti, qué bendición.”

Her voice lifts when I tell her.
Like music in a language they don’t teach in school.

At the store, at school, at the doctor’s front desk
I become her mouth. I become her ears.

They ask her questions she can't answer.
I step in, twelve years old, speaking like a grown-up.

They see her silence,
but her voice resonates
a melody in a language unspoken.

Sometimes I wish they could hear
the wisdom she holds
in every word.

Well, this is my life.
And I’m happy.
But it’s a struggle too
being the voice for someone
who gave up hers for you.

But now
she orders at restaurants,
chats with my teachers,
says “thank you” without looking down.

She found her voice.
And I helped her build it.
Now we speak
side by side.

No One Is Looking

Cadence lowers its tenebrous tempo
Dulcet to a morose Memento Mori-bund
Lachrymose ribbon garnet fountain
Ruby rivulets in wine glass Chardonnay
Bubble floats to pop
Silence yet I sway

Miasma tang vitae oh Nueva
So they swing on a rope seputchra
Momma Mia mommy
Bites her lips
Somersault flips
Debauchery

In my hidden boutique adornment boudoir
My basement locked ossuary

Delker Manez

Then they sang to the Lovers
Lovers across the world
they sang to people who
were in love
those who wanted to be Love
and those who understood love
and being in Love

She sang
Lover who I desire
and wish a world to
envy
Love oh Love
with your mystic ways
Love adore me
with all thy ways

He sang
She who Loves me
with her temperamental ways
she who desires the comforts of
our togetherness
in all her
womanish ways

Disterate

Malo
she ah Ego taming
man shaming
backbiting
Lover of known
she got soothing curves
sexy hips
wearing makeup
and gloss on her lips
sexy lady
make it crazy
I can't help
but indulge myself

       Le Femme
She has flaws
it's just because
she been able to get
all the men she likes
course she knows best
and what with the rest
belittled and criticized
she likes the sound of
her voice
leaving little room for
others to
contribute too

Bisgattii Mussu

class act
one hard to follow
more intriguing then
ah-bore
he thinks of all involved
when he performs
seen and unseen
his works are a class act
a showcase of talent
and sheer ability
it wouldn't suprise me if
millions of people would
support his effords of
acheiving his goals
the right guidance
and the right
people around him
will help him
in his success
his failures might
not be as long as his runs
if he's lucky
it wouldn't hurt to have the
right corner man
and the
right trainers
to keep him focused
and someone to
get him seen as
a contender
and maybe even a champion
His Cucoloris is made
from his own works
lets see what he can do with it

Tap Shoes For Malaguena

Ceiling above my skull
beyond the clouds
above the space and time
as silk moire, wand of ivory,
shadows of memories
as God watches the cupboard,
angels preparing breakfast
for universal morning
cherubs poke and squitter
original English of young
glutton | cap of moire,
pecker ivory, gut strings
of a guitar whose wardrobe
projects a lovely tongue
of pears she prepares
her tap shoes for Malaguena
and all the night's fair!

SONIDOS DE LOS TAMBORES DEL RÍO
COMO EL SONIDO DEL BEAT VA, TUM, TUM, TUM
A medida que el sonido del tambor late boom, boom y boom
Corriente de las aguas del río fluyendo;
Bajando los valles gritando.
Fluyendo donde puede tragar;
Las aves descienden, picoteando los cuerpos de peces que emergen ahora flotando;
Las olas gritaban los nombres de los que se alejaban, se escapaban;
Olas de las aguas aguas poco profundas turbulencia aguas agitadas;
Evita que la premisa diga
Corriendo por la corriente corriendo contra los troncos contra las orillas del río
En voz baja oímos los tambores de las olas que golpean en sus orillas;
En silencio oímos los tambores tum, tum, tum, boom, boom boom;
Tum,
     Tum,
        Tum,
El sonido de los tambores de río;
Hacer peaje
Los sonidos de los tambores de río, llamada;
Están llamando nuestros nombres;
El sonido de los tambores de río;
Beat tum, tum, tum;
Los sonidos de los tambores de río;
The sounds of the river drums;

		I

By Andres SEGOVIA, guitar, 2006

Man lopes up mast-pole
Man lopes up mast-pole
Man lopes up mast-pole

And finds no maiden fair
Who mimes his Asturian air

		II

By Andronicus, piano version

Man bikes up mountain
Man bikes up mountain
Man bikes up mountain

And espies masts far from there
Biscay Basques back with wares rare

		III

By Florin Croitoru, violin-solo

Man runs up belfry
Man runs up belfry
Man runs up belfry

To count sinners in every square
Come to keep their bosoms bare

canary islands inherited thrown
an a mild sadness in th' music rhyme
takes beyond thou memories line
to a place that's calm, gentle an fine
keeps your eyes open an kind
to finally get up an bind
a puff of wind of cherry rind

Premium MemberWarm Romantic Spanish Summers Night

A white walled Spanish villa
over looking a blue Mediterranean rolling sea
the fragrance of pink cherry blossom
and olive groves fill the warm night air
as waves of calm and tranquillity sweep over me.

Red roses and bottle of wine upon a table
by the pool candle flames flicker and dance
in a calm caressing breeze
Soft gentle guitar music
charge the air with romance.

With a dark haired señorita in a red elegant dress
and hair styled to impress
we talk and laugh exchanging flirting glances through the night
then dance under the stars slowly holding each other tight
Kisses lead to caresses
as we hold each others heart within our welcoming hands
For the night is made for love
She is my woman
and I her man.

A Spanish Autumn

To the rhythm of Spanish castanets
The tempestuous autumn wind
beat the mosaic of colorful leaves
into a twirling, swirling flamenco dance
