I really like the Spanish Gypsy scale, especially in A, on guitar. The scale is similar to the Harmonic minor and Hungarian minors scales, just starts at a different place (they are modes of each other). I like it because it has three unevenly spaced pairs of notes that are one fret apart, which has an interesting feel or mood to it when played.
