Premium Member Two Americas

There are two Americas today
One that puts its faith in the system
The other that puts it in the people
The first is the Left
The second is the Right
And this is the way it has always been
One side relying on the power of the State
To impose its will on the individual
The other side relying on the individual
To build, protect, support and celebrate this nation
The irony of course is the system
Relies on, and feeds off of these very individuals
One side wants to tear this nation down
To rebuild it in a vision of hope and change
The other wants to build on its traditional foundation
To simply make it great again
And make it even better
The Left and Right are not two wings
Of a single birds
Not two sides of one coin
They are instead two fundamentally different
Visions of what is right and wrong
What is the light and the dark
America, we are at a crossroad
What will it be, fun and freedom
Or anxiety, depression and terror of tyranny

Premium Member Champagne Socialism

Let’s fix a champagne socialism
I raise my fizzing glass
Cheering your most emotional
Love speech about poor us
Regardless that it’s just
A past time reverie
I drink to photographs
Where you smile at me
And smiling in return
I freeze in our time
But freezing comes like burn
Cheers, love! We’re doing fine
We were proceedingly polite
Remember this, do you?
Now we are angels in the night
With our champagne for two..

Premium Member Paycheck to Paycheck

Our laws are at best, temporary
for the SCOTUS can hear each appeal
And the ones which had once been decided
change again, with each new dirty deal

When the wealthy want new legislation
they refill their appointed Rep’s till
For America runs on the taxes
and the votes donors buy on The Hill

Our system is poisoned with money
as the votes are prepaid at campaigns
Afterwards, Congress files in the Chamber
to fulfill promised corporate gains

As the people live paycheck to paycheck
and appeal to their Reps in D.C.
All the capitalists label them
socialists
It’s unsure who the U.S. will be

Will the people who fund all the programs
choose a leader who knows how to fight
Or will we descend into darkness
where only the rich live in light

Let them do, let them pass

Come on! Let them do, let them pass
Today is not time
To shoot people anymore!
Don’t you know is November the 9th 1989?
Today there is not time
To stop goods anymore!
Come on! Only one thousand dollars
Will cost you a plenty full track!
At 9 past 21 p.m.
The wall is falling down!
Laissez faire, laissez passer!
There are bound to be changes
For our lives further on!
It’s crashing down
Together with our illusions
Their false promises
The wrong secular hope!
Come on!
The wall is not hiding anymore
The totems of progress!
Let’s go worshipping
The glittering gods
Bounding ahead!!

the rotting of socialism

The rotting of a socialist

I knew of a young man, a rebel who wanted
his country to adopt the Scandinavian model of socialism.
He was elected to great acclaim by the people,
he wanted taxes to rise, especially among
the wealthy and upper middle classes, they rebelled
by slurring him in the newspapers, lurid tales about sex orgies
and a luxury living, people turned against him
  not re-elected
After some years’ people found he was not
a bad egg
and he was elected as president again.
Now he was a changed man, didn`t care less about the Left
or the right, he just wanted to be president in his self-belief
gave tax relief to the rich, prices went up, and people
protested they wanted him to go.
He refuses to do so many people are killed
 he doesn`t care
turned from a good man into a bloody dictator
who will keep his power at whatever cost and has to
be removed by whatever means.
Viva Nicaragua.

Premium Member Do not go gentle into the totalitarian night

Do not go gentle into that totalitarian night
They lured you in with the promise of a new day
Rage against their deception, and for freedom's light

From a stagnant pool, you jumped into a river of no return
They said the new would rise, the old could burn
Swim against their current, rage against their tide
Face the mistake you made of choosing the wrong side.

Good men, deceived, crying for a mirage bright
Efforts at social justice inverted their deeds to dark
Still time to review how it happened, but no time to win the fight.

Grave men but old who tried to give blind new sight
They blazed like meteors, but fell short and lost the day
From all directions enemies come, too late to defend what's right

And you my father, there in that sad height
You said death was better than seeing what would come
A cursed sunset, a bitter sinking sun.
Don't look outside, draw the shades, as the noose draws tight
We'll shed tears together before the dying of the light.

Premium Member While We Were Sleeping

While we were sleeping
America became communist.
Of course they don’t call it that now,
And it isn’t ALL communist,
But at least 51% is all you need
To get your way in a democracy.

How did it happen?
Slowly, steadily, and completely
By design.

Most of these communists
Don’t even know they are,
Let alone Marxist sympathizing socialists,
Although now socialism
Isn’t the dirty word it used to be.

So the short answer is we got soft
And complacent, and spoiled
By the good times
The tougher generations of our ancestors
Bestowed.

But once they bestowed those times
They too started to get soft
And old, and fighting the good fight
Against communists, and youth and change
Isn’t so attractive when you’re old and soft.

So here we are
Pretty much screwed by the inevitable decline
Which greatness always faces.

Soft and old isn’t such a bad way to go after all.

It’s being soft and young now
That’s the b*tch.

Everything socialized, bliss, solitude...
      almost all fairly shared
      less control and direction..

Premium Member Subtle Socialism

"A man convinced against his own will, is of the same opinion still".

It used to be

two opinions
two paths
two ideologies
Two Choices

Day and Night,
Men and women,
Boys and girls,
Fathers and mothers,
Rights and the wrongs

open and closed,
gain and loses,
Lovers and the haters,
Good and evil,
Rich and poor,
Foolish and wise,
success and failure,

learned and unlearned ,
The living and the dead,
The willing and unwilling,
The thankful and thankful,
fruitful and unfruitful,
Righteous and the unrighteous.
the truthful and the Liars,

 Then came
The "Vaxxed" and "unvaxed".
the sane and the insane,
Then they had a problem
as Nations bow to Socialism
and President becomes Dictators
and pharmaceutical made the world a Lab
and the media as viceroy
compel us by repetition.

Socialism Sonnet

We now hear talk about guaranteed income,
The end to our freedom will be it’s outcome.
If Socialist’s are successful in forcing us to live,
off of some handout the Government can give.

Don’t listen to those who perpetuate this folly,
The end result will be, that all become melancholy.
Socialism destroys a person’s willingness to excel,
so this kind of thinking rational minds should repel.

Too many can't see the forest, for a single tree,
and are actively seeking anything that seems free.
My first amendment right guarantees my say,
and what the government gives, they can take away.

Socialism ruined countries from which this idea came,
now some are advocating making this country the same.

The most terrifying words in the English language are:
“I'm from the government and I'm here to help.”

Premium Member Faceless Reflection

Faceless reflection once fair as a flower
is all the eye can see
now ghostly hollow
we choked then swallowed
the darkness we can be

Daunted we are driven still
to find a defining face
forming familiarity’s found
to follow humanity’s trace

Through glassy eyes of tears like rain
our character lines have faded
Let our colors emerge
from our darkest hour
Let us not stay shaded!

HOWLING DRAGONS
PATROLLED THE SKIES.
IN SEARCH OF BEINGS
WHO RECENTLY DIED.

A BLINDING LIGHT
BEAMED UPON.
ONE MINUTE THEIR THERE
THE NEXT MINUTE GONE.

UNGODLY STENCH
OF ROTTING FLESH.
FILLED THE SKIES,
EVEN ONES BREATH.

LIVING IN DARKNESS
ELECTRICITY'S GONE.
ONE THING FOR SURE
IS THAT EVERYTHING'S WRONG.

CURRENCIES WORTHLESS
THEY BARTER OR TRADE.
THAT IS HOW,
THEIR MEALS ARE MADE.

VEGGIES AND SPICES,
EXTREMELY RARE.
YET NINE OUT OF TEN,
PEOPLE DON'T CARE.

PEOPLE ARE DESPERATE
AND LIFE IS IN DIRE.
PROTESTERS RUN,
THROUGH THE STREETS WHILE ON FIRE.

THE NEW WORLD GOVERNMENT
VACCINED THEM ALL.
I STAND HERE HELPLESS
WATCHING THEM FALL.

VOMIT AND BILE
COVER THE STREETS.
HOMELESS AND CHILDREN
WITH NO SHOES ON THERE FEET.

RANTING AND RAVING
THEY'RE LOSING THEIR MINDS.
ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT
AND ALL OF THE TIME.

THIS IS GROUND ZERO.
THE END OF THE LINE.
FOR ONE AND ALL,
JUST A MATTER OF TIME.

CONDITIONED FOOLS
THEY WERE LED TO BELIEVE.
I DON'T THINK THEY REALIZE
THEY WERE DECEIVED.

Clowns at the Abyss

I’m not a communist,
I’m a Democratic Socialist
Cries the independent Elitist

It’s a right to have healthcare
It’s a right to have welfare
Yet, funding for these generous proposals is no-where.

The clown behind the podium is a saint with your resources.
He proposes everyone pay their fair share, but more so by titan economic forces.
He hails we all work hard, or maybe not, assuming he is a party to the class of workhorses.

But the political party leaders are less like workhorses and more like jackasses.
For they too look down on their Animal Farm with tilted looking glasses.
Under their more-equal-than other proposals, in time all resources will be exhausted for the masses.

We have seen in the last century the million on million dead from empty promises given with a kiss.
We witnessed the suffering. Excuse me but was there something I missed?
If we cannot resist repeating our mistakes, like clowns we be, looking up from the bottom of an abyss.

Coveting is not a virtue.
You can vote your way into Socialism,
but you have to shoot your way out.

Explaining Capitalism Socialism Ways

When "socialist" is
     governing and driving failure
of the economy under capitalist regime
it's not for anything else ... it's for lack
         of expertise ...

       When "capitalist" is
        governing and driving failure
of the economy under capitalist regime,
It is not for anything else than
             incompetence... !
