Running wild
Through beds of rocks and stones
His voice echoes... 'Neath the mountain tops
Years gone by
Slimmed thin; his narrow bones
His arms, still trickling slowly downstream
Of man-stocked
No more reproduction
Like a blood transfusion...the trout swims
Just like that
Outliving you and I
One day, Old Man River...will be gone

trousers
Three pair of trousers hang on a wooden hanger
no, not the wires they give you ate the laundry.
I only fit one of them but have kept two pair
should I slim lose ten kilos, you must be joking
but hopes are eternal, and my doctor is good looking
she has a nice smile like should be interested in
my well being, every time I go there she has to look
into her computer, oh, yes him with the funny heart
and tries to flirt with me, fat chance.
The trousers slid from the wooden hanger fell on the floor
and since I was naked at the time picked up a pair of
grey slacks, the fitted just, but there was no room for
a shirt, I put on an over-sized T-shirt and thought
it was slimming, but my wife who loves to tell the truth
said I looked like a tent.
Her sarcasm was lost on me, I had slimmed and wore
the grey slacks that day.

O’ little Bonsai, looking elegant!
Ah, you are quiescent!
How do you feel when trimmed?
Discontented for being slimmed?
I feel a conscious impulse - carries
Back to mother earth’s hands.
I wished I would be a great bower,
For passers-by and for birds a big tower.
It’s not my silence,
But sadness that cast on my face.
Deprived of my original charm,
And last as a showy in the living room.
People wonder at my pretty figure.
But never realize that I have lost my vigor.
My stature makes them exuberant.
But never recognize that I am poignant.

Soothing the structures slimmed and sized,
The toning and textures of skins tendered,
Of waists curved into molds bold and shaped,
From the fines of hourglass and dusted in gold,
The Fragrances, The Dior's, deep the stimulation,
The Dressing, The Hermes, best in shape definition,
The soulful, and you that brightens all my desires,
Is one I envision to be the woman worth the elevation.
Behindhand with that that truest shone on days dark,
The choco-lightness, the facial beauty, pure of no mark,
The natural and you that stays faithful to creations alike,
Is one I envision to be the wonder woman worth the elevation.

Silent you were, aloud you shouted
Heavy it looked, lighter you took
Imbalanced you were, in balance you are
Know how had you, but his deep in you
Over and over along, the moons waned
Many shouted to you, I just whispered
All you put off, I kept trying
Men swarmed in, your actual hive
My knees I bend, to thought and thought
Turning my eyes agony, for you but gone
Out of the odds, you thinned and slimmed
Luck is not sun, we know must set
On the contra, it shoots like flashes
Vivacious is luck, before it thunders in
Every trouser feel, every dress to stress

Sue was putting on weight
at an alarming rate
Was it down to fate…
or too much food on her plate!
She got asked by a mate
when was her due date
But Sue’s monthly was not late,
at her friend Sue got quite irate!
Her friend’s comment made Sue instigate
a course on how to roller skate.
Her weight gain Sue did negate
and she’s slimmed down and looking great!

Crazy is the holy name of the book
I had read last night, paper backed
And very slimmed priced about dollars fifty three
Published and written by none other than this cherubic me
The theme is very simple telling about my rise
From very humble position and the attention I got
From the pompous girls and lustrous women of our locality
The critiques analysed it critically and said this is very false
But I am telling them I really saw a cute baby
Standing quite right at the end of the queue before my fall
And I am learnt from the lines of the last page
That for me she is still waiting with anxious breath
I feel pity for inexperienced her and still I regret
I should have continued writing, say, fifty more pages
To find her soul a mate but I am very ashamed to say
I am made a fool myself and a sense of self cheating creeps in
The book is not crazy nor am I, nor are there real critiques
Under dark I took a book unknown written by somebody else.

There doesn't seem to be enough humour here
That's where Jester Jack earns his pay
Been commissioned by the jolly police
To spread joy and giggles each day
He's provides this service totally free of charge
There's no reason to change that now
He also reaps such happy benefits
Creating laughter is his vow
Ain't a serious bone in his slimmed down body
Though some say he's still overweight
It goes with being a jolly old elf
Or a happy-go-lucky primate
So next time you need a pick me up my friend
Click on me, I'm online all day long
I'll try to chase your worries away
With a cheery word and a song!

At dawn, we collect our nefarious swords,
Drenched with dusk's wailing chords.
Hordes congeal steadily in torrents, aboard
Vessels abreast a boy who's bored.
Insipid wounds burst like dwarf stars,
Spattering lapels slicked with stagnant scars.
In battered lands stands a striated limb
And jeering tiers of perverted peers, slimmed
In spirit, hoarse and nauseating. Rumpled sheets,
Amass writhing; blackened defeats,
Repressed urges surge and singe sporadically.
Timid expressions impress, yet he still tallies.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more annoying than a buzzing mosquito.
Rough winds do radiate from your way,
And your face is red as a ripe tomato.
Sometimes too bright your sweaty skin doth shine
And often is my fair vision dimmed
By the sight of your face, in decline,
And your thighs, needing to be slimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
When will you pay the money that thou ows’t?
Thy personality cuts me like a blade
When in eternal lines to time thou wrinkles grow’st,
So long as men can breathe and eyes can see,
So long lives this: thou shalt remain ugly.

TYNE - BUILT SHIP 1968
Gigantic steel behemoth
Sitting on the ways greased
And ready to give it birth,
Ten-storey-high street-darkener,
Rusted and immobile -
Once launched in silent swish
And cheered by a thousand voices,
Transformed to marine elegance,
And slimmed by the vastness
Of the endless ocean -
She moves easily in her element,
Dolphin and whale at the same time.

Big Brenda knew things were not right
When she saw the rolls of cellulite
She could not disguise
The wrinkly thighs
And her hanging butt groaning with fright .
Skinny Jack just stood there and leered
It was worse than his lean frame had feared
When he sat on her lap
And had a real bad mishap
Skinny vanished .... He just disappeared .
But Weight-watchers opened her eyes
Slimmed her "Michelin" way down to size
And Skinny was found
In a wrinkle that bound
Her bum to the back of her thighs .
Inspired for Carolyn's contest .
