Skeletons Poems

Skeletons

Echoed voices that seep
Through the cracks in the drywall
Of the room which I hide in.
Bones clatter in the closet,
The softest shadows show those faces,
Those girls,
Those girls who I loved who could care less for me,
And that faceless face I erased that held me against
The tile of that bathroom.
Haunting me, taunting me,
Whispering, lingering,
...

Unveiling skeletons in the closet of forbidden truth

Forgive me as I compose this remorseful apology

An admission of my egotistical individuality

Realization of how I've accustomed to being a Ticking time bomb impulsively leaking noxious fumes

 Unintentionally forcing you to inhale and endure my venomous pollution;

But Innocence I had plead with evidence justifying unforseen indescribable affinity

Unintentionally passionately

To what i defined a Fragile

Skeletons

Skeletons in my closet that threaten to break out,
And I know when I see them I'll be too scared to shout.
Memories so painful I keep them locked away,
And when they show their teeth I can't help but be afraid.
A darkness so deep I try to steer clear,
But when I step in oh the voices I

Nightmare Symphony

In the dead of night, when shadows creep,
A haunting presence, secrets to keep.
Beneath the moon's gaze, darkness awakes,
As Halloween's spell, its hold it takes.

Ghosts and ghouls, they roam the land,
A spectral army, at their command.
Whispering winds, a chilling breeze,
Echoing screams, the sound of unease.

Jack-o'-lanterns flicker with an eerie glow,
Their grinning faces, a sinister show.
Witches on

Motley Crew of Corpses

One Summer night, just around dawn
A Motley Crew came to town
But there was something that filled with dread
They were all very dead.

The folk scattered to all sides
Escaping dead of all kinds
Skeletons and Zombies too
Some jokingly howling "Booo".

And so madness has begun
"Scaring people is so fun!"
"We will get you very soon!"
Roared the monsters to the tune
Of

Skeletons

For whatever reason, I've been experiencing weird triggers recently. I'm sharing stuff in the hope that my struggles will help others. I'm not interested in sympathy or attention. My intentions are pure. But I humbly accept that people will only understand us at the level that they are enlightened. This isn't a high and mighty

Dogs and Skeletons

There is a Glass Sea, a dead ocean,
It is snowing again but it is barely September.
You blend seasons like colors because I want to breathe again.

A tantrum breaks the sky open

Premium MemberThe Most Gorgeous Wreath

She has made a gorgeous wreath the older lady said.
Not being able to see that the white flowers were skeletons.
It’s obviously for Halloween, someone replied.
Another person asked why, as skeletons are “in” now.

The older lady had no idea why they were speaking of skeletons.
She was speaking about a wreath, with huge white flowers.
She had never

Let your skeletons out of the closet and let them dance with mine, the way that our bodies once moved together in an unspoken of time
I am one of these skeletons, maybe your biggest one of all, you keep me hidden away in the back where my memory you can’t recall
I guess for you it’s

Premium MemberDance With Your Skeletons

Dance with your skeletons
Fling the closet doors wide
Throw open the blinds
Let the sunshine inside

Dance with your skeletons
You know that I’m right
For they have no backbone
When held to the light

Dance with your skeletons
Introduce them to friends
And eventually
Your collection will thin

So bring out those old bones
And shake off the dust
It’s time for spring-cleaning
Get

Premium MemberFour Skeletons and An Umbrella

Four skeletons and an umbrella she sang with an “oh ho!”
She sang it high and she sang it low.
She sang it wherever we decided to go.

Four skeletons and an umbrella, they are happy and gay.
She sang it loudly almost every October day.
We rolled our eyes, not understanding her way.

Four skeletons and an umbrella, she said.
I

Skeletons In My Closet

Every closet has those - haunting sockets, death white bones, hollow smiles..
Skeletons in the closet.
Mine too, bigger ones and a few smaller, calmly taunting
with each creak of open door..
Most times I am lost in their deep dark glare
I become them! Me - one of those ghastly skeletons
With crooked bones, where once was flesh and

Premium MemberSkeletons In My Cupboard

Selfie at Wat Rong Khun temple, Thailand
was the screen saver on my mobile phone.
My three year old daughter asked ‘where’s this land?’
Heart fluttered, for I was not there alone,
so I murmured something in monotone.
Till date, when my daughter takes me aside,
if asked, I’d say she was a tourist guide!
Clandestine encounters of shady past,
from phone erased,
