Life of country boys
Rocks amd branch for toys
A car comes this way
Boy no longer play
Dirt road boy clears way
Car stops white man says
Passion fruits that is
My tutu, tutu

      I will bet you one whole dime 

   It only seems so in retrospect ~
     when we select what to resurrect

Who's reunitation can only be described as Sublime
On this day we are all fortunate to share in their bliss

Little was known of intricate human psychology.

When I was a child unburdened by worry

Christmas was always magical;
and still brings out the child in me.
Yet, I yearn for a simpler time
when innocence was still in bloom.

Although holidays come and go,
Christmas was always magical.
It's the season carolers' sing;
and friendly neighbors wave and smile.

Reindeer once adorned our rooftops,
and townsfolk strung up colored lights.

In days of old
When Knights were bold
And wonder filled the sky;
A world more simple, 
Eyes that would twinkle
As life passed slowly by and by.

Food that was real,
Few that would steal,
Neighbors knew each other’s name;
Faith that was strong,
Wrong was just wrong,
A worthy life the common aim.

Now we all run
In darkness and sun,
No time to ponder and

I miss the old days
 my sixties, seventies and eighties
when I was young and unafraid,
 but now it seems
those years have caught up with me
 and I find my old grams words in my head
that I've seen better days;
 but in my heart
things always turn around
 and though the past cannot be undone
tomorrow's future remains
