Simpler Times Through Photography

Remembering simpler times through photography
When most entertainment was unelectrified,
Before the golden age of complex technology
Little was known of intricate human psychology.

Families quickly congregated when someone died
Little was known of intricate human psychology,
Behaving ourselves was considered dignified.

Families quickly congregated when someone died
Much time was spent exploring family genealogy,
Behaving ourselves was considered dignified
Afront of the slightest sort demanded an apology.

Much time was spent exploring family genealogy
Only the most affluent could travel across the pond,
Afront of the slightest sort demanded an apology
Now we travel around the world and even beyond.

Only the most affluent could travel across the pond

I remember going on holiday then sending off the spool to have the photos developed and then invite family members around to see them. Each photo had a story behind it now family just send loads of meaningless pics with no real meaning to them. A woman recently wrote to me about stealing her boyfriend's photos which were on his webpage; I replied that if she looked at the info, she would see they were all my copyrighted photos lifted from my Apache site. There are more than two dozen sites claiming my photo of Yvette Yazzie is their photo! L Milton Hankins Date: 1/28/2022 2:21:00 PM Unfortunately, I think, Tom, that is so true. The ability to take uneventful shot on a cell phone have done much to devalue the importance of photos.
