How to steal the wealth in this town?
This question was high on the dockets.
Oh yes, the wealth would "Trickle Down,"
But, only reached "Senator's Pockets!"
Results delayed by Washington's games,
As the panic and chaos mounted.
All were too weak to face the flames,
As we got filleted and counted!
The debate would never be won,
The argument was one-sided.
While some was blinded by the sun,
ALL were conquered and divided!
Today's parents better protect,
Lambs, you call, son or daughter.
Those affected by their neglect,
Will be led into the slaughter!

Bewildering static
frames the soulless—
restlessly habitual, as
crippled philosophies efflux
amidst stunted swells,
cracked and parched
despite ocean whorls that
coat wayward sentiments, of
grave quagmires rippling in
steady streams,
paradoxically cornered into a
vortex of intoxicating drifters.
Rather, the moon guides my way
amidst lulling meres,
soothing the storms
raging within perplexed
personas, sailing towards a
dawning of lucid seascapes—
home to you, my ocean blue.

His love gentles the eager wind
Calming, inspiring – vowing
Peace within, a holy silence
Whispering grace into the soul
Wonders twirl proudly amidst dreams
His love gentles the eager wind
Uplifting the feelings so meek
Rustling verses sprout holy wings
Laughing streams burst forth, splashing joy
Over smooth stones, tender musings
His love gentles the eager wind
Stirring music from swirling leaves
Exciting praises write a yarn
Details vibrating, splendid hopes
Echoes of the stars glistening
His love gentles the eager wind

Something hard as a tree's shell
Delight as dew drop on spring flower
Tenderness of heart is to desire
Love, ambition,it can not be broken
Always the same even in dark
To dream is to fantasize
To live eagerly our heart beats
To love, eternal passion body boils
Kiss, soft and gentle upon your lips
Your curves tingle with urge
Where is the beauty except your touch I feel?
Your breath upon my skin be hot
I know my heart's wanting desires
Its beat I can not count
A thousand times a minute it feels
I fall weak in words,a mere whisper
My breath you take in silence
Never dying, never quiet
Silencing of the Heart, always alive

When you hide the seething pain under a smile,
Making it look easy, to the people vile.
You eclipse the surging anger with a yes.
While masking your emotions fighting to resurface.
Being a victim of the nagging thoughts in the mind.
Speaking of the memories that were left behind.
Choosing to remain strong even when in pain.
Requires a will of steel and a goal to aim.
Silencing the arguments with a scream, so mute;
Your soul reverberates and strengthens the route,
To your success that takes you afar,
From the cavils of a carper and remains of the scar.

Vision’s blurring around the edges now—
The perfect vignette for silent film;
The text screams bold inside your head;
The crickets wail from amongst the trees.
You’re the femme fatale in this deathly skit,
Doubling trouble with perfect smiles,
Charming your way through grim impasse:
To be or not to be.
Have you left enough clues as to your fate?
Will a savior know to find you?
Alas, there’s none here to save but you,
As the warmth he left creeps from you.
Perhaps blood shed will quench the thirst,
But veins cut once might drain you—
So listen still for a quiet step:
Executioner or lover.
What light from yonder window breaks?
It’s the after, not an angel.

The headline news this morning read
Ben's tolling drones will be shut down
while workers clean the cogs in his head
He might even get turned upside down
Old Ben will be out of ringing commission
for four years there will be peace and quiet
No gongs will be ringing in noisy emission
Ben's being put on a needed silence diet

Blood on every corner our youths are dying
I hear the innocent crying
When will the blood stop running
When will the guns stop coming
We need some change in the system
Exhausted from going to funerals and seeing mothers crying, no hope in their eyes
We need to stop the guns that's the only way to stop the blood from flowing
There is a raging war against our children
Every year the same cry ...stop killing our future, stop killing our children
The system doesn’t care because they are a part of the problem
When will it end ...who will save our children

I think too much
But do I think at all?
I say too much
But I don't speak to all?
I see too much
But am I blind to what I see?
I feel so much
But is this reality?
I look at you and I love what I see
I need to look in your eyes to find the peace in me

I just wanna meditate ...
Hovering along the coast
We're goin on a date
We're the birds in the vicinity
Babe never mentioning
me
probably
Bc of all the guys targeting
& we haven't talked in days
& it bothers me
Skimming threw the clouds
manifesting new realities
But it's challenging
Cuz all my dreams are facing new fatalities
& all my emotions in this poetry
Are proving that I'm cursed. You see?
So I just sit at home
Hella festively, craving patience
Waiting on the day you call me up like
I don't hate you.

I'm alone here
it's just me.
And the people in my head.
Screaming, cursing, blaming.
Your fault, you, you, you.
You caused it.
You allowed it.
You could have stopped it.
How?
Eyes closed, mind rewinding time.
Soft hands, a gentle smile
friendly eyes.
Hurt, pain, blood pooling on the floor.
Empty nakedness on cold tiles.
A locked door.
How? How?
Your fault, you, you, you.
You caused it.
You allowed it.
You could have stopped it.
How?
Eyes closed, mind rewinding time.
Loving touch, promises of escape
a better future.
Rope bound wrists.
Burnt flesh, bleeding wounds.
Choking, turning blue.
Hurt, pain, a locked heart.
How? How?
Your fault, you, you, you.
You caused it.
You allowed it.
You could have stopped it.
How? How? How?
How do you stop the nightmare?
How do you stop Blue Beard on his steed?
How do you stop his abuse?
How do you end the pain?
How do you stop crying?
How do you put the voices to rest?
How?
