Worry shadows my mind
In flavors of panic
Anxiety and concern
A rich well of apprehension
Flooding my hope for serenity

Silencing the Innocent

Blood on every corner our youths are dying
I hear the innocent crying 
When will the blood stop running 
When will the guns stop coming
We need some change in the system
Exhausted from going to funerals and seeing mothers crying, no hope in their eyes 

We need to stop the guns that's the only way to stop
