Fading Star Silence Poet Free verse

Silencing Sonance

Bewildering static 
frames the soulless—
restlessly habitual, as 
crippled philosophies efflux
amidst stunted swells, 
cracked and parched 
despite ocean whorls that 
coat wayward sentiments, of
grave quagmires rippling in 
steady streams, 
paradoxically cornered into a 
vortex of intoxicating drifters.
Rather, the moon guides my way 
amidst lulling meres, 
soothing the storms 
raging within perplexed 
personas, sailing towards a 
dawning of lucid seascapes—
home to you, my ocean blue.

Your language is an ocean of fury, full of wrath and passion. And though you face..“ paradoxically cornered into a vortex of intoxicating drifters” you still choose the moon to follow home. Silent One September 15, 2023 at 12:37 PM You have an amazing vocabulary and your use of words are always so creative.. you use a lot of metaphors, but i think you do that to protect your feelings.. poetry is your catharsis and that is the most important thing... so many great word pairing here like grave quagmire rippling in steady streams and amidst lulling meres.. so glad you are on the soup.. just waiting for the rest of the crew to join..
