I smoke until my eyes bleed
And a friend I do not need
For if there was a stud
Who'd think he was a bud
Was it rather smoking weed

Sweet Earth
O
Sweet earth,
You awe me.
Your daring wiz of
Forging day and night.
How do you just do it?
Your belly of oceans and
That breast of mountains and shorelines.
They say you were once a burning ball
Where do you really come from? I wonder.

Left Behind
Incessant, scream
of existing silence,
Withdraws,
When watching
The flat screen

Vast planes,
A flame of a lady,
Presents, her assembled
Plate, before the shinning
Duke

Microwave, baked beans
pressing my tongue, to knuckle,
sip of milk, listening
To gun fire, wiz,
On surround sound...

Healing
How can stars be there?
I am blind in slush,flinched
From the vagrant wind
Wafting the fog's kiss
To wiz tree down the ravine
Tucked in by the fells
Where kinda moon drops
Souse eerie pebbledashed face
Of me to recoup.

Ridin' the Train
memories of subway sleep
on voyages to and from
the college castle keep
lights wiz by, I see with half closed eye,
the subway smell so unique,
like dirt, and hurt, and
something mysteriously sweet
it's hard to vocalize,
cause words would cheat
it's strange implant
it left upon my brain,
so many years ago
I wonder why,
will I ever again,
ride that train?...

Sealed lavishly by Engineers
Who were acting like
Old-School Nay Sayers

Freshly graduated architects
thrilled with the beauty of their sparkling masterpiece
Begged Governor to cut opening ribbon

This would put their state on the map!
Governor not as happy, after spending an extra six hours here
Replacing all four car tires...

Awesome
October 03, 2006

Awesome

Incredible as it may be,

And as brilliant as it is,

You are uniquely a wiz.

Looks like you and me.

In the winds and free.

It’s hers and it’s his.

Those two took a quiz.

Together those two see.

Dancing on the Moon,

Or singing to the Sun.

Their love is too soon.

And their life just begun.

They are in a full bloomed blossom,

And those two together are awesome!...

Fields of Fire
They come from either side,
And there's no place to hide,
Fields of deadly fire,
Not what one would desire...

Bullets wiz past my ears,
My eyes bulging with fears,
Why'd I have to lead the charge,
In stead of refitting in the rear.

Soldiers do as they are told,
Sometimes things that
makes the heart grow cold...
Almost to the summit,
Must keep rolling on,
Till we capture the high ground,
Or until we all are gone....

Alarm Clock In Jurassic Park
Roar of a snore
Heard it before
Intense urge to wiz
Felt the call that is
Awake too soon
So far from noon
Early to rise
A primal surprise
An annoying jolt
Stampeding down Jurassic Park
Up all night, pitch black dark
Toss and turn
Oil to burn
Seething at the snort
Restful slumber to abort
No excuse for this abuse
Ring the alarm, light a fuse
Snored awake, sleep do shake
Awful Fright, this late night
Pitch black dark
Jurassic Park...

Waiting For the Snow
According to my phone, the snow
Is set to start at one,
Well, 70% the chance
That it will have begun.

I look outside and wonder
Just how accurate that is.
Predictions sometimes fizzle out
Despite a weather wiz.

Yet plans get readjusted
And cancellations spike
All based on when predictors
Say a storm will likely strike.

It’s probably a foolish thing
Depending on your phone
To figure out activities
You maybe should postpone....

Getting Through
Long days,and short days,

We all must change our individual ways,

Even if we dont have a clear mind,to what it may be,

Some of us, has to hold the key,

To open a piece of the open door,

So, we can show the world,

Just how peaceful it is,

If i could only be a wiz at this,

Then we wouldnt be at such a big risk,

To take the next step,

Even if its a baby one,

We should make it,

To and from,

The bottom, all the way to the Top....

Pondering
Friends are few
Family is too

The phones aren’t ringing
But the birds are singing

I’m going back to college
And get my PhD

School is a good alternative
To show that you’re a wiz

When it’s really all about biz

I’ll parlay this knowledge
Into dollars

The Lord is my Shepard
I shall not want

Says my Heavenly Father

In my quietness
I find self

When
There’s
No
One
Else

Solitude
Is good for the soul

Undiscovered feelings
Unfold...

Premium Member Drinking Beer With Farmer Fred
On my way to use the head,
I ran into Farmer Fred.
Now I’ll be jiggered, and I be dread,
If this isn’t exactly what Fred said.
“Ah, me lad tis time to tinkle.”
“Inevitable consequence of the beer we drinkle.”
“Now hold her steady as you wiz and trickle,
Take a good aim and try not to sprinkle.”
Then as he finished and zipped up his fly,
He gives me the famous Fred wink of the eye.
“Hurry now laddie and empty your bladdie.”
“For a wee more grog, twill make us gladdie.”...
