Waiting For the Snow

According to my phone, the snow Is set to start at one, Well, 70% the chance That it will have begun. I look outside and wonder Just how accurate that is. Predictions sometimes fizzle out Despite a weather wiz. Yet plans get readjusted And cancellations spike All based on when predictors Say a storm will likely strike. It’s probably a foolish thing Depending on your phone To figure out activities You maybe should postpone.

Weathermen are the worse predictors! Weather patterns are just too fluid to stall still. Got 4 inches the other evening, enough to keep me off the roads. I'm too old to put trust weathermen. I let the weather be what it will be. / M

This one fits my area to a "T" right now as we are supposed to have snow from 3:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. tomorrow. I hope it is a gross exaggeration.

Perhaps we should trust our instincts and intuition a little more credit, those of us who haven't ceded them to our smart(?)phones, that is. Ha, ha. (I don't have a smartphone, myself). I think it probably snowed out your way though, as we got hit pretty hard a day earlier. :) Gershon

They spend hours predicting the weather, the wind changes and it all goes out the window lol. Tom

I don't have a phone, but the TV weather reports are seldom accurate. In fact, our local TV weatherman is called, "Lie" Hagi! It did snow on Mauna Kea the other night, so snow in Hawai'i is not that rare! Stay warm! Aloha! Rico
