Voyeur Validated
Voyeur Validated

Before taking case Lawyer hesitated;
Said the voyeur should be validated,
And had got caught,
Trying to pass thought;
In end he ended up being constipated.

Love, can’t be expressed and validated by words spoken, only by demonstrations of understanding and forgiveness, that empower the heart, allow the birth of dreams, and sure to follow, the power of hope....

Lord,
Let me never become so enamored with the future,
That my journey on earth is not appreciated;
Nor find lurking in dark corners of my past,
Things concluded,
That might preclude my journey from being validated.
Amen...

Premium Member He Felt Unworthy
He felt unworthy
Unworthy of love
Unworthy of friends
Unworthy of community
A walking apology
Head down, sad mouth, shaded eyes
Never validated
Never loved
Secluded from others
Including a father he claimed to despise
He never actually met him though....

Premium Member can he chew through electric cords
the mystery of whether or not
my puppy can chew through an electric cord
was answered this morning
I will give you an emphatic yes
he poked his snout into a Christmas box
and chewed the ends off of all of the lights
I feel validated now
in my insistence on hiding all cords
fearing he could do this...

I am only half listening
brig brig brig
listening less now
She is nine
Does not notice
It is all about how many words she can speak.
She is not good at reading people's expressions
I look up, relieved,
that she has not stopped
and she still feels validated
Which is borderline ridiculous
if you know people at all...

Premium Member Singing a Song in Honor of the Wind
Melody of the west wind
Wafts into the courtyard
Tickling the fresh buds of an apple tree
I am enthralled, excited, enthused

Singing commences
A ditty I make up in honor of wind
An appreciative cloud gives me a nod
I feel validated

Oak tree scoffs
He is not as easily won over as wind or cloud
Matters not, I continue singing the wind song
Feeling the excitement of spring...

Buzz, buzz, buzzing our work is never done;
gathering the nectar kissed by the sun.

Buzz, buzz, buzzing a familiar tune;
We sing in harmony, throughout the afternoon.

Buzz, buzz, buzzing in a magical ballet;
Our pockets filled with beads of gold, then we fly away.

are they merely apps, or what I am?
I crave the love, as much as life
I get from all my faves and likes
Am I validated by others thumbs,
their trite largesse, or is it some
much baser instinct that's in play
a need to fill that I can't weigh
A hole inside my tender psyche;
the person that I cannot like
Myself, yes me, the very one
who presses "like" for everyone...

chanting their song
reveling in their return

Premium Member Green-Eyed Monster
Indubitably there is one emotion
By the time I feel its first nettle
I am at the point of explosion
It is already too late to settle

I become immediately apoplectic
Before the green-eyed monster
Is validated as authentic
Thus exaggerating it asunder

I find this is so flabbergasting
My face turns red and I glower
Jealousy for me is most suggesting
That my sanity has been devoured

Premium Member Surprise For Grandma
Quick! Let’s make cookies and surprise grandma!
Grandma had gone outside to show a neighbor a tractor.
This was our chance; we were five and four.
Our beagle Cotton was eager to help, of course.

Grandma came in and laughed herself into a chair.
She kept grinning and laughing, and we felt validated.
Not understanding that she would have never done this
It we had been her children instead of her grandchildren....

No Right Answers
Every time I think I understand the world
I find that I am sadly mistaken
Truths are never fully validated
And for every truth refuted
My doubt, my skepticism grows
Losing trust in the world around me
Losing the ability to tell fact from fiction
Where is the answer?
Where is any answer?
I shall continue my wayward spiral
Into the vast darkness of uncertainty
Where is the light when darkness is just as dim?...

Premium Member Gods Painted Canvas Waiting For Me
My heart smiles as my eyes see
God’s painted canvas waiting for me
My Father is here today

I feel joy that I cannot fully express
The cool waters in no way damp my mood
Cougar Lake instills calm in me

Assuring me that on the way to heaven
My father validated this was to be his resting place
I take a peek at the mirrored reflection

Catching joy in my face
I find nowhere else
“Hi Dad” I say
Not knowing which dad
Will speak first...

Are you ever wrong? I mean,
admit being wrong –

Do you make decisions based
on: head, heart, or backside? I'll
answer for you: Backside –

Should everyone's opinion be
validated and respected? For, you and I,
do not have common sense enough
to know right from wrong. Thieves. Murderers.
Sexual Abusers. Politicians, etc..

+1 point if your answer is
yes or no. +20 points
if noncommittal participation
is enough
in your opinion –...

What the God Delusion Means To Me
I read an atheistic book and it almost validated my life -
My desires, feelings, ambitions and dreams;
It was as if a person was actually speaking to me,
As I entered into his world of god theory.

The author painted for me the right picture,
The scene I was born into of religion and stricture,
Such that after I read it I could handle my life,
And more comfortably cope with long-term strife.

The God Delusion is by Richard Dawkins 2006....

My Worst Me
Now firstly, you promote the worst me,
seems your ego's thirsty to cut and curse me,
elevates you up where you're better and above
out to win peoples approval who admire you with love
gifting a social superiority and a validated status
which looks down on folks like me as useless wasters
acceptance gives you worth and you feel you are succeeding
you beat me in my worst light? ne'er-do-well is my rating,
here's your victory, it comes over my worst placing...

Premium Member Confidence is her Armor
Her power and strength come from within
Her essence is carefully grounded
Spirit animals congregate to her side
Giving her dreams the extra touches she needs

Raccoon gives her cleverness
Fox gives her cunning
The white wolf shows her how to howl her truth
She is validated by her spirit animals

Confidence and self-assured poise is her armor
Her strength comes from her willingness to be herself
To follow her heart, and live her soul dream to its fullest capacity...

Thyself
Anxiety and shame riddled my youth and I just wanted to belong
The desire to excel and conform was beyond measure
The painful difficulties of youth are rarely validated
Being told to follow your hero but blaze your trail
Follow the shadow but color inside the lines
Neverendingly seeking the rightly wise
I finally woke up one day and realized
When you exhaust help in others
Turn from them and the world
Sometimes it is best to revert
And seek wisdom from who?
Thyself.

Fences
They surround me on all four sides,
Not suggestive, but definite and set,
Forgetful of apprehension and tides,
Unable to move, change, alter or let.

But they protect me from something,
That one thing with which i can’t cope,
So that maybe when time will bring,
I’ll tear them down to have more scope.

Once I feel validated by them, ramified,
I’ll venture away from my cruel keeper,
To be the person I am to be, amplified,
Thankful that the path was not steeper....
