Language bridges nature's self-consciousness,
covering,
discovering,
recovering,
uncovering
sacred Time's regenerous echoing Pilgrimage.
Lugubrious veil
Covers your lachrymose soul
With melancholy
Uncovering treacherous
Grooves in the path you walked

Unbearably I gaze
through the endless smog,
and attempt
to blow clouds
away.
Though
a pollution I have let it
become,
It seeps
inside.
Around, it is dark
because inside
so am I.
Light fingers
touching blossoms
to the vine;
I've seen these
at sunrise;
when I took time
to pause...
become silent
uncovering from a season's dark
I aired, opened
to new brightness....
Ever watch Exhibition Unknown with Josh Gates
Uncovering ancient cities with treasures that await
His sense of humor
Makes him shrewder
Than many, he's a natural as our souls he elevates
Alas,
Brisk Candles Dine,
Endlessly Fleeting Graceful Horizons
In Just, knowing Lies May Never Own
Promptly Quilting, Reasons Stiffening
Tomorrow Uncovering Voracious Winds
Xenial Yielding Zenith.
Chasing
certain moments
through my mind
Seeking
unique love
a special kind
Uncovering
past thoughts
hurtful feelings
not intending to find
Hiding
broken images
captured your soul
made me blind
pine cones drop like tears
from a weeping willow's bough
autumn's gentle grief
burnt orange cake spread
on the bottom of our shoes
amber hues take hold
gales of wind gust strong
over beds of crimson rust
uncovering seeds
A thick, misty haze
Cluttered that meadow
Of dreams
Where rivers of love
And trees of life
Flourished like untamed weeds
But your strong wind
Rushed the clouds away
Uncovering a clear reality
My life lies ahead of me
And I choose you

She’s wise
then cries
His lies
Despise
Ted deceives her… she’s wise, then cries out
uncovering his lies … despise, shout!

A sweet ray of sun on an autumn breeze
Nestled amongst arms in nature's way
Dreaming dreams and living scenes
Right in front of our very eyes
Etching out lasting memories
And uncovering endless possibilities
Happy birthday Andrea!!
You are truly a gift to us.
Intense, the sun’s rays
light-headed, dizzy, her reaction
A chill wind from nowhere
stabs her, springing into action
Is this the end, she wonders
gathering herself
Throws herself shamelessly at the world
uncovering ~ a sacred elf
One, two
Spirits
Entwined
Side by side
Alone
Yet together
Not identical
Fraternal
Reflections
Images floating
Starry skies
Pond leaves
Debris
Covers
Bright colors
Masking Intentions
Rain falling
Uncovering
Veins of love
Stem to tip
Floating
Stopping
Pond's edge
Embracing
Sand beneath
Worn feet
Damp coolness
Water treated
Moved waves away
Puttering the open shore
Enjoyment
For one and all
Making inroads
Life fine
Getting over tensions
Building on new dimensions
Old measures not forgot
Uncovering well tone mored
Deal with and go on home
Speaking happy mime
Exhausted entities
To breath in the exhaust
Fumes will be your fuel
Who's the fool now?
Drowning in a pool of your own spit
To find the perfect fit
Falling into a pit of ash
Uncovering your secret stash of secrets...
The truth will spill out
Get your fill of lies
Because every human's a spie of the FBI
I oft find myself reliving my youth
uncovering uncomfortable truths
about all of my foibles and most of my sins
O, Lord! What condition my poor soul is in...
Whether daydreams or nightmares
each one gives me a scare
I'd played life so close to the vest
~ What might have been if I'd headed west
Sitting before the mountain bare
A single thread, the clear stream runs cold
Until the mists had cleared the air
And the grey peaks their heads unfold
White clean snow floating like a dream
Uncovering and flowing like cream.

The vibes we ride
the highs, the lows
conversations with
conclusive innuendos
Hypotheticals and
experiments
we engage in
acrobatics of
noun and verb duels
Your en garde
I fall hard
Butter knife
tongues
Eucharistic bread
the uncovering
of your body
unravels my
mentality
Intoxicatingly
sipping your
Lord have mercies
Amen and Amen
Uncharted
You trickled your way into the fold of my heart
and every day went deeper since
toeing through uncharted waters
nosing to my core.
You’ve brought light to the darkest part of me
the sun have never seen,
with no more than an unarmed smile
you explore my tempestuous waters
unabashed;
uncovering a little piece of me
each time more.
Blue ink imprints
On lighter blue lines
With the intent
Of telling no lies
Yet still cautious
Of revealing all truth
Things meant to miss
Feelings left to lose
Solely uncovering
A portion of the pain
With a habit of leaving
Fractions to remain
Out of compulsion
To never wholly share
Due to apprehension
Of being fully bare
January 2010
As the Sun creeps over the mountains
Darkness cowers, making way for the light
Due weeps and turns to fountains,
Drip drip dripping out of sight
Mother Nature is astounding
How different the Day over the Night
The Dawn over powers the dusk uncovering the night-shy flowers
It is truly sublime...
As the flowers stretch and yawn they face the Sun in pure delight

8 Lines Now Okay
Irked shadow's occasions a Sun,
Tolls a knell's lowly peal, begun.
Ill winds bade the palls hovering,
Time betrays caused uncovering.
Inch thoust trek thy countenance hid,
The belching rains down thoust forbid.
In looms thoust melt of Luna's lyre,
Thoust lieth in her soothing fire.

Peeling away the onion
uncovering another layer
Brings a tear to my eye
can just about bear
keep stripping back
trying not to stare
I sneak a little peep
find I’m almost there
then come the floods
my soul’s laid bare
All that remains
is pungent despair
I close my eyes and listen to the river flowing
The water is low and the rocks are showing
Revealing my soul, while uncovering peace
I stand and I listen while I release…
Turbulent feelings that are caught like a stick
In the flowing river, here’s to thoughts I kick…
And with each kick, freedom finds me here
On the shore of the river, that is so near

Uncovering your breasts
and waist,
you become half-eaten.
Disaffection
fathere a child.
The intimacy was
false. There were anger and theatrics.
The paternity suit falls
flat. The boundaries between
underthings are torn.
Painting the self-portrait
I had made a cut on my face
for you to bleed.
With a flick of hand
you wipe out the whole future.
