Notes About The Poem

Reliving My Youth

I oft find myself reliving my youth
    uncovering uncomfortable truths
about all of my foibles and most of my sins
O, Lord! What condition my poor soul is in...

  Whether daydreams or nightmares
each one gives me a scare
I'd played life so close to the vest
~ What might have been if I'd headed west

No gold up there, Tom. But I did strike a lot of empty beer cans! ~ Aluminum Al

Great point Gershon. When you sin in your dreams are you sinning? Thanks for sharing my friend...

Another question: When you dream of your sins, are you dreaming?!
