The Intent

Blue ink imprints
On lighter blue lines
With the intent
Of telling no lies

Yet still cautious
Of revealing all truth
Things meant to miss
Feelings left to lose

Solely uncovering
A portion of the pain
With a habit of leaving
Fractions to remain

Out of compulsion
To never wholly share
Due to apprehension
Of being fully bare
