Soul Searching

Peeling away the onion uncovering another layer Brings a tear to my eye can just about bear keep stripping back trying not to stare I sneak a little peep find I’m almost there then come the floods my soul’s laid bare All that remains is pungent despair

Looking into their soul, does help you to see them clearly. If you don't like what you see, stop peeling back those layers. So many thoughts to ponder here. You seem to have a wonderful soul. Staying true to who you are. ~ Brandy

Heya Brandy, I was trying some introspection here, peeling back the very essence of reality, trying to find the underlying meaning to being, I can get very deep in thoughts sometimes, I don’t get upset if I can’t find answers, but every now and then, hit upon something different, a new unseen lair, thank you for that uplifting comment, cheers David

Indeed Christopher, sometimes even after peeling back all the layers, there is nothing but a bad taste left, cheers David
