Chain of Thought

words strung together like beads
just some hint
of the same shade
linking incoherant shapes
bright thread of thought
running through the center
something uncomplicated, but effective
to tie up the ends

Premium Member Television Shows

I’m on my way there
The land of television

Slammed Shut

slammed shut
closed off from
the bonds
that once
bound the
two hearts
together
forever trapped
in a state of
emotional limbo
never able to
break the chains
that tie up the
soul within a persion
of self-loathing

Life

Life is not something to choose
if not getting the answer,
can get some clues...

Life has no such regulations and rules
like you have to follow every don'ts and do's

Life is an adventurous hue...

Just wake up the morning new,
tie up the laces of shoe,
and startup the journey,
to fulfill your dreams due...

Premium Member Rooting For Snidely Whiplash

I am rooting for Snidely Whiplash
Tie up sweet Nell and give her a gnash.
Silly Dudley Do-Right
Simply isn’t that bright.
Snidely, turn him into cornmeal mash.

Good villain, it is your turn to win.
Wipe off Dudley Do-Right’s ridiculous grin.
Leave her on the tracks
With their clickety clacks
Follow me, Whiplash. Do I hear an Amen?

Towel Foul

A lively young lady went down
To the sea to bathe all unbound,
She took off her suit,
She knew she looked cute,
Soon folks of all ages stood round.

Soaking wet, she went for her towel,
As she neared her smile turned to scowl,
Her towel was not there
To tie up her hair,
She turned to the crowd and called foul.

Pesky Loose Ends

If everything were simple it would shape just like a brain,
And I’d take it out and look at it and never feel a pain,
And I’d pity poorer mortals who didn’t care if it were true,
For the clear and simple reasons that explained their shallow view,
And my life would be a pleasure with no pondering to annoy,
For there wouldn’t be a single loose end to tie up...

At Year's End

As the year draws to a close
It is time to audit the accounts
And settle debts:
Write the overdue letter,
Fulfill the promise,
Tie up loose ends,
Wipe the slate
Of nagging shoulds.

As the year draws to a close
It is time to audit the accounts
And tally assets:
Revel in life’s abundance,
Gather your blessings,
Step without fear
In the path
Of new adventures.

Premium Member Creaky Bones

Creaky bones, I must be getting old. Creaky bones, But I will not be told. Creaky bones, Those stairs are hard to climb. Creaky bones, I will not moan and whine. Creaky bones, Bending to tie up shoes. Creaky bones, Waiting in those long queues. Creaky bones, Once young, now aging fast. Creaky bones, Soon I’ll have that free bus pass. Creaky bones.

Premium Member Reading between the lines

God-vision as a game of haves and have nots,
little wonder then veiled remains voiced intent,
for those who know not, tie up symbols in knots,
whilst those illumined, know the path of ascent,
reading between the lines, feeling not thinking,
their heightened awareness, firm and unblinking
and so we may say, meanings by each assigned,
depends on extent to, they’re with truth aligned.

Premium Member Joining the Dots

Attempting to join the dots we tie up ourselves in knots; later try to untangle, these barbs that scar and mangle. Instrumentalising thought we rest in silence, self-taught, letting go of doership crutch, enabling knowing by touch. One with universal mind, wisdom of another kind, definitive, free from doubt, deep in soul, clear truth does grout. 18-August-2022

Premium Member Stormy Who

Do you care about Stormy who or
any one else Trump stuck it to?
Keep the focus on his worse transgression,
the 1-6th insurrection.
Do you need to know with whom Trump cohorts?
Why spend the money and tie up our courts?
Trump was elected as our President
and with little experience to the White House he went.
A game show host which was quite absurd.
When will people stop talking about this tweety bird?

Premium Member New Moorings

I slipped loose some time ago
it feels, the knot untied, cut;
depending on perspective;
gently pushed away to float
freely, wildly, aimlessly.
Some new imagined moorings
hauling steady at my line;
as they ever did and will.

When all the rivers, far seas,
oceans have been sailed upon
and longings have been sated;
I will weary and so yearn
to tie up again, awhile,
shape this berth into my shrine;

'till, new imagined moorings
do haul steady at my line.

Premium Member Darkheart

He rode in on horse
It was pale of course
He was as mean as he was crazy
He'll rob, murder and steal, But he ain't lazy
The first man was shot in front of the saloon
It wasn't close to being high noon
Didn't tie up his horse, It wouldn't leave
For that kind of action, No reprieve
He kicked the doors wide
And fired inside
No place to run, No place to hide
Who lived and died, He would decide
He did his job from finish to start
This is why they call him BlackHeart

Plastic Dreams

Plastic bags
	hold plastic dreams:

Water bottles filled with filtered
hope seething chloride stained
brains left thought
-less attracted towards rancid
smile at the magic hat
trick of the eye
candy dispenser tossed on the ground
‘s keeper cleaned up from last nights
parade with clown
faces that look away when strangers
dance together in the rain
falling trash chokes the air
	from a buttercup
fragments used to tie up

Bags full
	Ready to meet
		The garbage truck.
