Premium Member Frozen In Crystalline--Number 4

Tassels of flakes studded in pearl

Drape the lane where ice-capped elms unfurl.

Feral Carol

Feral Carol was a dance hall girl.
Up on a barrel, she'd swing and swirl.
She never disappointed.
Her pelvis was disjointed.
And they love it when her tassels twirl.

Frayed pants
aging tassels in the wind
work in progress

Patched dreams
soft comfort of renewal

Old boots
moldings of the soul

Sequined red nipple tassels – oh I can’t believe my eyes

So if you don’t see me on here for a while…………
I’m busy elsewhere wearing my prize and just a smile!

Stunning tail-light of eve
Sweeps across the heavens
Streaked with chrome blue tassels:
Swift the leap glossed by dust
Spin of Hailey's Comet,
Streams quickly... then fades off!

MY BICYCLE

I love my bicycle
Which is blue, it screams
I love you
With my basket
Hanging low
It's faster than
You can blow
With reflectors
On my mags
Even my stickers
Has its own tags
My handlebar
Tassels hang low
They fly as my
Bicycle goes

Wet Body

Wet Body
The muscle man has on his gold trunks
See how he dances oh so cool
His lady has on but 3 items
2 nipple tassels and a forward triangle
See how good they look together
An awesome couple like it was a film
Think what they do together
Does it make you blush?

Comes monsoon in its crystal tassels,

Drizzling on my stain-glass window

Floating within my liquid stream of prayer,

Premium Member A Beard of Dust

The old clock had grown
a beard of dust.
The ink in the Underwood's ribbon
long dried in silence.
Frayed tassels of an old desk lamp
hung over the motionless pen.
Gnarled hands etched
the pain of goodbye.
Grandmother's rocker was still.
So was he.

The Old Scribe Poetry Contest

Pearls

Nacreous trees
reach into goldenrod skies
autumn wheat hissing, envious!
Tassels of crown hang, lifeless.
Queen of a barren kingdom
where silver suns trek horizons,
never in reach for the looking glass
to swallow, and reflect,
inside out.
Another sunrise sets
all as the pearl harvest eclipses behind,
the apple of her eye.

No one knew that Mavis was a stripper,
They thought she worked at Tesco on the till.
Most folk knew her since she was a nipper,
No one knew that Mavis was a stripper.
A woman always cheerful and chipper,
She twirled her tassels publicly, but still
No one knew that Mavis was a stripper,
They thought she worked at Tesco on the till.

Premium Member Vassals Espinela

As I collapse on this pillow
I find that place I can run to;
The hidden path I’ll always know;
Past the stars! Follow midnight blue!

A step from the sea’s undertow
shrouded in dreams I build castles;
On my salmon robe hang tassels
that capture particles of sand;
Glitter in the palm of my hand,
I’m not one of the King’s vassals.

Premium Member I Am A Guava Tree

Tassels of beads light my garment
as tropical air fondles my skin
 content in the ripened grace
of my arms and round, orange fruitage,
shading men from rainfall and sun.

I nestle on the ground, hair basking
in May's glint...my guava pulp exploding
from Asian roots born of clay, and I,
in copper- like pose, become maiden
of woods, ever- rich... and evergreen.
